Gordes to Lourdes - Provence Road Trip Toyota Prado Campsite Review - 9 COUNTRIES IN 9 DAYS - EP 07
This is episode 7 of our road trip, 9 countries in 9 days, in which Daniela and I drive across Europe. Our journey takes us from Sweden to Portugal in my Toyota Land Cruiser 120, also known as the Toyota Prado, LC120, J120, the equivalent of the Lexus GX470. It’s a great overlanding vehicle, and the perfect touring vehicle to enjoy a long distance trip in. Yes, it’s thirsty, but we got lucky on this day, and we found a very cheap gas station in the city of Avignon, in the south of France.
This is the seventh leg of our trip, day 7, during which we drive from Gordes to Lourdes, stopping at the biggest highlight of the day, the beautiful historical landmark and heritage site; the Sénanque Abbey, or Abbaye Notre-Dame de Sénanque, as it's called in French. It's really an iconic place that's very much worth the visit, even out of season.
During this video I also take the opportunity to give a review of the campsite (camping des sources) where we were staying it, simply because it was such a good spot with top notch facilities. A campsite that I would recommend staying at again!
I hope you enjoy the scenery of this beautiful part of Europe. I try to capture the atmosphere and vibe of what it’s like to travel by car through Europe. Have fun watching us cruise down the péage and my diary-style vlog ramblings!

Dashcam recording South bound + North bound Toll Booth Gare de Péage de Chambéry Nord (located near La Motte-Servolex) A43/N201, France. Chambéry is located to the South/Southeast of this toll booth. I really like this toll area given the relatively complicated approach. The Dashcam shows arrival coming from the A43 on 27 January 2020 around 16.37 hrs local time with, by the looks of it, a gendarme ready to stop vehicles for inspection. See for continuing footage of the N201 in Southeasterly direction. It will be roughly another 2 hours now to my destination in Val-d'Isère. Clip slightly edited due to delay of the car in front of me and me paying, which isn't easy when you're in a right hand drive car. The clip also shows dashcam recording of the return leg on 30 January 2020 around 11.13 hrs local time. Immediately after entering the toll section there, you enter either the A43 west towards Lyon or the A41 North/Northeast towards Annecy and Genève. Dashcam time GMT.

À Isérables en Valais, ce jeune homme de 34 ans rénove sa maison pour la rendre autonome et s'adonne depuis plus d'une année à ses passions : les chevaux et le charronnage, un métier ancestral.

In this video you will see the beautiful town of Vierzon where I grab a lovely coffee and baguette for lunch. We come across a burnt out pizza restaurant. I get emotional at the end of the days cycle as I conquered many self doubts and over came them,
