Here is my complete guide to The Magnificent Mile in Chicago on Michigan Avenue. Chicago's most luxurious shops and stores can be found here, but they are a bit of a hidden gem that I discuss towards the end of the video.
Just over the Chicago River, the Mag Mile starts with the Wrigley Building, Tribune Tower, Intercontinental Chicago, and more. Further along, you will find many stores, restaurants such as Althea and Gino's East, and many more notable sights. Some of these include the Water Tower Place, 360 Observation Deck, and the Starbucks Reserve Roastery.
Past the Magnificent Mile you will find a quiet park and the wonderful Oak Street Beach on Lake Michigan. Located a block west of Michigan Avenue, you will find the TRUE luxury stores and most expensive goods to purchase in the area.

We use Sony Alpha series cameras to film our videos. They are compact so you don’t look like a super tourist when you take great pictures and videos while you travel.
We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.

Pumphouse Point | Lake St Clair, Tasmania Travel Diary
Welcome to Pumphouse Point, one of the most beautiful corners of Australia. This wilderness retreat on Lake St Clair in the Tasmanian mountains was an original hydro-electricity pumphouse, converted into boutique accommodation for days spent fireside, birdwatching with wine and cheese.
The spring sunshine and sudden cold snaps last November were the perfect backdrop for wilderness walks spotting wallabies and their joeys, and even a late night wombat sighting. Breathtaking natural bushland and a stunning place to stay.
Ps. For anyone interested in a visit, I booked the Shorehouse Waterview Room with a gorgeous view of the Pumphouse in the distance, but you can also stay in the Pumphouse itself out over the water. Feel free to comment below with any questions or requests for Tasmania tips!

The City of New Baltimore is located in the northeast corner of Macomb County bordering beautiful Anchor Bay located on the coastline of Lake St. Clair. It is the fastest growing community in Macomb County. This quaint downtown is home to one of the best beaches and parks on the U.S. Shoreline. It's the ideal spot to enjoy a refreshing swim or picnic with the family; or grab some sweets and coffee from famous Stahl's Bakery and head to the waterfront to enjoy an afternoon with a great book.
Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park, Tasmania
Cradle Mountain-Lake Saint Clair National Park is located in the Central Highlands of Tasmania, the island state of Australia. This park has two main attractions - Cradle Mountain making up the north of the park, with Lake Saint Clair in the south.
Gustav Weindorfer first visited Cradle Mountain in 1910 and really liked it. He purchased some land and built by 1912 a chalet for guests. In 1935 the Overland 80 km track was created and rangers guided tours along it.
Cradle Mountain-Lake Saint Clair National Park has many mountains and spectacular lakes. Mountains which have made this national park famous include Cradle Mountain. Dove Lake and Lake Saint Clair are truly breathtaking. There are many short walks to walk and some long walks. Each of these walks is a fascinating experience.
Padmelons, Bennett's wallabies, wombats and possums are some of the animals you will meet in this park. Watch out for the Currawongs (the look like ravens), who have learnt to unzip packs. Even if they can't get to your food, they can peck holes in things through your pack. Feeding animals is strictly prohibited in Cradle Mountain-Lake Saint Clair National Park. Fines will be imposed if you are caught feeding animals. Park rangers are patrolling the park. Do not risk getting fined. Fines will be in large amounts.
The climate here in Cradle Mountain-Lake Saint Clair National Park is Very unpredictable and can change extremely rapidly. In this part of Tasmania, it rains 9 out of 10 days a year, so fully equip yourself with gear for wet weather. The temperature is always colder than other parts of Tasmania, although it is not far south. Precipitation here is high because of the large number of trees. It could be raining for 5 minutes, and then it is suddenly sunny. Rain here is very light, like little flakes of water. Bring a raincoat instead of an umbrella, because it is extremely windy and you do not want to risk spoiling your brolly. Get ready for freak weather - including snow in summer.

Pumphouse Point & Luxurious Retreat at Lake St Clair | Tasmania Part 4 'On The Road' Travel Series 🍎
Tasmania used to predominantly known for its deep thick forest, natural bushland and walking tracks. Now Tasmania also conjures up thoughts of premium wines, new age whiskey and modern architecture. When you head to Lake St Clair in the state’s centre to visit Pumphouse Point, the best of old and new Tasmania combine to create an experience like no other.
Pumphouse point is stepped in history. In the 1930s, the was a vision to build a 5-storey pumphouse that would house enormous water turbines to power the hydropower system - a vision that was realised in 1940. This state of the art facility was to pump water from Lake St Clair into the nearby St Clair Lagoon where it would be stored and fed to the nearby Tarraleah Power Station as required. However, the need to use the facility failed to arise and the site was eventually decommissioned in the early 90s having never been used for its intended purpose. The Tasmanian Government assumed control of the unique site and appointed the Parks & Wildlife Service as caretaker with a view to attracting potential tourism developers. In a final tender for tourism development in 2004, Simon Currant was successful in securing the lease and began his journey toward bringing Pumphouse Point back to life to create a vibrant and unique home away from home.
