If you are planning to visit #Lake Garda, in Italy, here you’ll find the best tips on things to do in the lake, with a sightseeing map on the most relevant points of interest to enjoy, so you can easily imagine and organize your trip: WHAT to see, HOW to plan your visit, and WHY to discover Lake Garda.
In Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy, you can find sport opportunities, nature, food, and history.

So, if you want to better organize your holidays without getting lost among all the possible destinations to visit, how could you arrange your trip?

Well, in this video you’ll get 10 ideas to visit the main attractions around the NORTH part of the lake, to be clear between Limone, Riva del Garda and Malcesine, while for the SOUTHER part watch this other video:

Of course you can start visiting the main villages on the shore of the lake: Limone, Riva, Torbole and Malcesine. Close to lake Garda there are other three truly fascinating smaller lakes: Ledro, Tenno and Toblino, and a panoramic Castle in Arco. Close to Malcesine, I suggest you also visit Monte Baldo and Madonna della Corona sanctuary.

Limone sul Garda is charming and if you are spending a few days at Lake Garda a visit here should be among your priorities.
The historic centre is a labyrinth of narrow paths and stairs.
From the center of Limone you can ride a few kilometers of the scenic Garda cycle path, a path suspended over the lake, that will become the longest cycle path in Europe in 2026!

Valle di Ledro path runs through the entire Ledro valley to Lake Ampola.
It is recommended this path for those who want to discover the beauties of the higher altitude area around the lake.
You can have a nice breakfast in Rifugio al Faggio, at the end of Val Concei.

From Torbole you can reach Toblino lake!

The path Valle dei Laghi allows you to start from Riva del Garda area – down there you can see Garda lake, to reach the splendid lake of Toblino, along the Sarca river.

With a small deviation you can reach the center of Arco, where on Wednesday the is the local market, and also the castle of Arco.

What to do in Riva del Garda 🇮🇹 Cascata del Varone LAKE GARDA

Lake Garda is the biggest Italian Lake. It can be tricky sometimes to find out which places you should visit. That’s why we’re creating the list for you!

In this episode we take you to Riva del Garda, on the north shore of Lake Garda.
As a first thing we visited incredible hidden gem Parco Grotta Cascata Varone.
Then we strolled the old town of Riva del Garda, climbed the clock tower to see the town from above and then headed to our favourite beach on Garda Lake.

Parco Grotta Cascata Varone is truly a stunning natural attraction in Italy near Riva del Garda. It features a dramatic waterfall cascading 98 meters into a grotto, which has been carved over 20,000 years by water erosion. Visitors can explore two main observation points: the lower cave, accessible via a pathway, and the upper cave, reached through a tunnel. The park is surrounded by lush botanical gardens and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
