Riposto Lungomare
Riposto è una comune di circa 15 mila abitanti che si trova vicino il comune di Giarre in provincia di Catania (Sicilia). Sorge nel mar ionio tra Catania e Messina e rappresenta uno dei più storici e caratteristici paesi marinari dell'area jonico-etnea.
In questo comune sul mare, sorge anche il porto, chiamato anche porto dell'Etna ed è una moderna e complessa struttura portuale composta di un porto turistico.
In questo video viene ritratto una parte del paesaggio che è possibile ammirare dal lungomare ripostese. Lungomare in cui ogni giorno tantissima gente lo percorre durante passeggiate o per fare attività di Jogging.

Marina Riposto is also known as Porto di Riposto or Porto del Etna. It is located in Italy, on the island of Sicily in Riposto, in the province of Catania. Thanks to its strategic location, this Marina is the ideal starting point to discover the beauty of the surrounding areas, from Riposto to Taormina, from Mount Etna to the Alcantara Gorges.
Port Etna offers 380 berths up to 80 meters long, water and electricity pumps, and a wide range of services to suit every taste.
The 5,000 square meter shipyard and 1,000 square meter hangar are equipped to handle all routine and emergency maintenance operations.
A modern and well-equipped dock, used all year round, has 150 linear meters of berths on the shore and 570 linear meters of floating docks, allowing mooring of various categories of vessels from 8 to 40 meters.
The control tower provides permission to enter the port and guarantees the reception, mooring and unmooring of ships. The historic center of Riposto, located next to the port of Etna, offers the opportunity to take advantage of commercial facilities, services, as well as the local market and the characteristic fish market.

This saavy seafront town sits on the Ionian coast in the shadow of Mt. Etna. It was the location of one of Sicily's first public schools as well as the Naval Institute, established by King Ferdinando I. The town's name is thought to derive from the Italian word ripostiglio - meaning storage - because of the waterfront warehouses that kept wine and other regional products waiting to be loaded onto ships. Its position was so important that it was once home to consulate offices for Sweden, Romania, the UK, Brazil, Norway, Greece and France.The lungomare seafront street leads to the charming neighboring village of Torre Archirafi. Riposto's patron saint is (appropriately) St. Peter, the protector of sailors and a neoclassic church built in the 1800s is dedicated to him. Its white stone facade was inspired by the beautiful basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano in Rome, which is the official papal church. Inside are important paintings by a variety of Sicilian artists.Riposto rests in the shadow of Mt. Etna, and offers outings to the famous volcano, bike paths, and other outdoors activities. It is close to the incredible ruins of Taormina, and has nice beaches for relaxing. The town is small yet offers restaurants, pizzerias, coffee bars and shops. There are also some lively festivals to enjoy, such as the Sagra delle Botti, a rollicking party where teams push wine barrels through the streets in a race, paying homage to the town's past artisan craft of building barrels. There is a Fish Festival every summer and a food fest that highlights the Arancino, a Sicilian specialty that can be described as a fried rice ball (and which, we warn you, are highly addictive!)
