Travel Medical Insurance I use:
Get 5% OFF Hey Mondo:
SafetyWing (best for younger travelers + digital nomads):
*I use both of these companies depending on the destination and requirements of entry. If you are going to be abroad for a long time and/or don't need as much coverage, I would recommend SafetyWing. BUT you cannot purchase SafetyWing WHILE in Canada or USA. You can only purchase once already abroad. Hey Mondo is more expensive but offers a higher level of coverage including plans that have trip cancellation/interruption insurance. Hey Mondo would be the better insurance to use if you need travel medical insurance when applying for a visa. Both companies cover covid. I am an affiliate for both companies, but I pay for my own policies.*

This Mexican town is SO COOL!!
We're on a quest to see what Queretaro, Mexico has to offer. Today's vlog brought us to the historic center, a local vineyard, and the magic town Bernal.
► Download CrowdVoice:
Looking for what to do in Queretaro? In today's Mexico vlog, we're in Queretaro, Queretaro ready to take advantage of the gorgeous 75-degree weather on this late July day. That's what brought us to a tasty breakfast at Pia in the historic center of Queretaro before going for a road trip to one of the many vineyards within a 1-hour drive from the city.
Our first stop is a local vineyard called Finca Sala Vivé by Friexenet. After having a few glasses of wine and exploring the vineyard, we make the 20-minute drive to the Pueblo Mágico (Magic Town) called Bernal. This town is so charming with artisanal products, handicrafts, walking streets, and the stunning monolith.

10 Reasons You Should Move to THIS Magical Town in Mexico // Con Subtítulos
Today we are going to give you 10 Reasons why you should move to Cholula, Puebla instead of some of the other more popular retirement destinations in Mexico.
#1 The food in Puebla/Cholula is amazing
#2 Cholula is beautiful!
#3 It's not as crowded/popular as other popular places to retire in Mexico such as San Miguel de Allende, Puerto Vallarta, or Merida.
#4 The Jacarandas trees!
#4.5 It's very walkable. Compared to cities like Guanajuato and San Miguel de Allende- Cholula is extremely walkable. The streets are flat, smooth, and there are ample sidewalks.
#5 It is close to Puebla, healthcare, and an international airport
#6 The moderate climate is amazing!
#7 The people of Cholula are extremely friendly
#8 The Great Pyramid of Cholula!
#9 It has a low cost of living. Because it isn't full of US and Canadian expats or tourists, the cost of living is lower than places such as San Miguel de Allende.
#10 It has good infrastructure

Unbelievable Mexican Food - FIRE GRILLED MEAT + Cenote and Chichen Itza in Yucatán, Mexico!
Join us on this amazing Mexican food road trip through Yucatan, Mexico!
►SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos per week:
►T-shirts available now:
We started off in the morning in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, and the plan was to drive all the way to Merida, the capital of Yucatan state. But on the way, we’d stop off to eat some amazing Mexican food, and also visit some attractions in Yucatan like a cenote and Chichen Itza. It turned out to be one of the most amazing days of my Mexico trip - here’s everything we did and ate.
Tacos De Cecina Estilo Yecaixtla - Before leaving Playa Del Carmen, we desperately needed some taco nourishment, and so we stopped at Tacos De Cecina Estilo Yecaixtla, a street food stall that’s known for their beef tacos. I tried a few of their tacos, all of which were outstanding, and overflowing with meat!
Price - 74 MXN ($3.97) for my plate
Cenote X'canché - We drove towards Valladolid, and not too far from there is a cenote known as Cenote X'canché. The hard thing about Yucatan and visiting a cenote is that there are so many to choose from, but since we had a car, I wanted to go to one that was a little more off the beaten path and quiet. It proved to be an amazing experience, so quiet and peaceful.
Entrance - 50 MXN ($2.69), Bicycle ride - 100 MXN ($5.37) per person
La Tía de Kaua - There’s a Mexican food Yucatan dish known as poc chuc, that’s one of the ultimate dishes from the region - usually made of pork marinated and grilled or cooked over a hot fire griddle. In the sleepy town of Kaua, we stopped at La Tía de Kaua for some incredible poc chuc and freshly ground habanero tomato salsa. It was such an insanely delicious meal.
Total price - 300 MXN ($16.11) for 4 adults
Chichén Itzá - Finally, to wrap of the day of Mexican food and attractions in Yucatan, we drove to Chichen Itza. It’s one of the most visited attractions in Mexico and it’s an amazing sight to see. We arrived in the late afternoon, and luckily it wasn’t too busy.
Entrance price - 242 MXN ($13) per person
Mérida - Finally we arrived to Merida at night. Stay tuned for the next Merida street food tour!

► WHO AM I?
I am a Brazilian-American journalist living in Florida. After traveling the world working with sports, news, and events for over 15 years, I realized that what I really love is the travel part of it all. So I exchanged life in the newsrooms and stadiums for the daily challenge of being an independent content producer. I created this channel to share the beauties of the world... stuff that for so long I only kept to myself. Also to help people planning similar trips and to inspire more people to venture out and enjoy life!
P.S.: The funny guy who appears in the vlogs is my husband, Gordon. He is Canadian-American and he's actually camera-shy, that's why he's behind the camera most of the time 😉

ULTIMATE SOUVENIR SHOPPING IN MEXICO CITY - BAZAAR SABADO (SATURDAY ART MARKET, + EL CARDENAL)
The Saturday Bazaar in the San Angel neighborhood of Mexico City, was recommended by all of our friends from the area - and none of the tourist blogs we read, so we knew it was going to be a wonderful, authentic experience. We were blown away by the size and talent displayed here! We have already decided we will have to make the trip back when we purchase a house one day. We highly recommend visiting here to support local artists, and buy something unique and memorable to cherish for a lifetime. Next we made our way (for the fourth time) to El Cardenal, Mexico City's BEST brunch spot (in our opinion), the hot chocolate there is life changing, the bread and natas are the perfect start to any day, and lastly we tried something very new to us, ant egg tacos! Best place to buy souvenirs in Mexico City!

Welcome to madventure, we're MADison and iVEN (okay it is spelled Ivan, but pronounced like VENture) a husband and wife living the adventure we have been dreaming of, despite the fact that it makes us sound completely mad. For us that looks like traveling full time and starting our own businesses.
For Madison, a former reality TV producer, the dream is the madventure community, connecting people through travel, experiencing new cultures, and trying the best foods from carts, stands and restaurants all over the world. She hopes to encourage others to follow their maddest most adventurous dreams, whatever they may be!
For Ivan, a former NASA engineer, it is creating an engineering product that will change the world!
Travel and food are two of our biggest passions, so on this channel we will be traveling the world, and staying awhile to experience what life is actually like living other places. We're excited to have you on board for the delicious, culture filled, madventurous times that will ensue! Let's madventure! xoxo
Not your typical Mexican food | Where the locals go in Playa del Carmen
Mexican food is famous worldwide, but when you travel to Mexico, you can find some other pretty unique ingredients. So we joined a food tour to experience the different tastes in Playa del Carmen, in the Riviera Maya. And oh my!!! We had the favorites - quesadilla, taco, enchilada, etc - but in a totally different way. Come discover huitlacoche, mole, guanabana, horchata... How adventurous would you be?
Thanks to Eating with Carmen Food Tours for the amazing experience 😋
