Gorgeous sandy beaches, lovely people, and incredibly delicious food make this province a wonderful place to visit. Actually, I learned something new about Prince Edward Island. The province is home to incredible food culture and is the perfect place for any passionate foodie. PEI was our third province visited on the Road to 150 Tour.

Prince Albert: Saskatchewan's Most Northern City In -40C
The city of Prince Albert is the gateway to the north of Saskatchewan. It is the province's third largest city and was one of my favorite places to go growing up. A lot has changed since I was last there, but what hasn't changed is just how COLD the temperature can be during the frigid Sask winters. It was hovering around -40 degrees celsius the day we were there, so it made filming extremely difficult. I hope you guys still enjoy the video and let me know in the comments if you've ever been to Prince Albert! xx

#princealbert #princealbertSaskatchewan
Prince Albert is the third-largest city in Saskatchewan, Canada, after Saskatoon and Regina. It is situated near the centre of the province on the banks of the North Saskatchewan River. The city is known as the Gateway to the North because it is the last major centre along the route to the resources of northern Saskatchewan. Prince Albert National Park is located 51 km (32 mi) north of the city and contains a wealth of lakes, forest, and wildlife.

Canada Road Trip: Best Things To Do In Saskatchewan
In this video, we share some of the best things to do in Saskatchewan, including Saskatoon, Regina, Grasslands National Park, and more!
Welcome to Saskatchewan!
Often known as an incredibly flat province, nothing could be further from the truth. With lush boreal forests and pristine lakes in the North to prairie landscapes and badlands in the South, Saskatchewan is the perfect place for outdoor lovers to explore.
We drove a pontoon boat around Lake Waskesiu, learned about the province's first nations at Wanuskewin Heritage Centre, and went for a float in Canada's version of the dead sea. We also toured the RCMP Heritage Centre, witnessed the RCMP sunset ceremony, climbed a massive sand dune, and hiked through one of the few remaining natural grasslands in North America. We packed a lot of adventures into our short visit and can't wait to return one day and explore the province further.
We explored Saskatchewan from July 27th - August 8th, 2017!

Is Prince Albert, Saskatchewan Worth Visiting? (Exploring Saskatchewan's boreal forests) 🇨🇦
After the drive in from Flin Flon, I spent some time exploring Prince Albert, Saskatchewan's third largest city and its gateway to the north.
Though there wasn't a whole lot to sustain my attention in this small city, nearby Prince Albert National Park proved a worthy side-trip, protecting one of Canada's most unspoiled stretches of boreal forest. The quaint resort town of Waskesiu Lake was the highlight (even though I was faced with stormy weather during my visit!) and I'd definitely return here in the future.
