The Scrovegni Chapel cycle of frescoes is considered one of the greatest art masterpieces of the Italian and European 14th century painting. It is the most complete and best preserved cycle of frescoes painted by the Tuscan master Giotto.
The outside of the Basilica of Saint Anthony (1232) is a mix of Lombard, Tuscan and Byzantine styles.
Palazzo della Ragione was built in 1218 and the upper floor, called il Salone, is one of the largest medieval halls of the world.
Ghetto is marked by via Barbarigo, Manin, Canziano, Roma and Marsala. The area is easy to recognise thanks to its narrow streets and vertical buildings.

Padua / Padova is a Northern Italian City, within easy reach from Venice. Travellers often use Padova as a base to explore Northern Italy, due to it being well connected in terms of public transport.
We enjoyed our day trip to this compact, walkable and authentic city. My favourite part was the heart of the city, where the three piazzas meet.
