Hiking Spot at Bukit Bendera Papar Sabah
A new hiking spot here at Bukit Bendera, Kg. Suok Dambai, Papar Sabah that went viral recently has been an active weekends spot for most of the surrounding villagers. This hiking spot situated in the Kg. Suok Dambai Papar should be on your list if you haven't tried them!
The hiking took an average of 20 to 40 minutes (approximately 760 meter of walk) to reach to the top with the difficulty level of easy to moderate. You can extend your view from the beautiful landscape of the green paddy field up to the beautiful Papar town.
Put on your hiking beg, shoes and bring those hiking poles with you because you gonna need them on your adventurous hiking journey to the 208 meter climb (above sea level) to the top of the Bukit Bendera hill.

Kinandukan Hill / Bukit Kinandukan Kelanahan Papar, Sabah, Malaysia (2020)/ Sabah With Kids
42 km from Kota Kinabalu, Kinandukan Hill is about 1 hour drive to Papar town. It has a height of about 135 metres and is situated just next to Telinting Beach, suitable for activities such as jogging, recreations, camping sites, and family retreats. It takes about 20 minutes to reach the peak of Kinandukan Hill, and upon reaching the top, hikers will be able to see the beautiful scenery surrounding the hill such as Pulau Tiga and the sandy beaches of Telinting.
It was a little hazy during the day we hiked Kinandukan Hill but still a great time well spent with my family. No further arrangement is required. Just set your google maps to the right location which is : Gerai-gerai Trek Masuk Bukit Kinandukan. Basic facilitates such as toilet and prayer room for Muslim are provided. You can also check out Pantai Telinting nearby the foot of the hill.
