This video is an informational video on a 3-day hike through Cocora valley on up to summit one of the highest mountains in Colombia, Paramillo del Quindio at 15,580ft. This is definitely one of the best multi-day hikes in the area and is super accessible for visitors however, it is very demanding. So if you are up for a challenge I would recommend it 100%. Less touristy than the lost city trek.☜

✨Hello everyone welcome to my video,
When we planned our trip to Colombia, it was difficult to narrow down the destination options because there is just SO MUCH TO SEE here,
but we knew we wouldn’t want to miss the Coffee Triangle.
Colombia’s Coffee Triangle is made up of 3 departments: Caldas, Risaralda, and Quindio.
We chose Salento as our home base in this area because it’s colorfully vibrant and super close to the Cocora Valley, home to the tallest Palm Trees in the world!!
We loved getting to go on a coffee farm tour with Finca Buenos Aires,
and we learned so much there from the planting to the roasting to preparing the perfect cup of coffee!
We are sad that we don’t have much time left in Colombia. This country stole our hearts!!

The main production zone for some of the best coffee in the world, we were lucky enough to visit an incredible coffee farm, the Quindio Botanical Garden and see the countryside of Colombia while on our epic roadtrip. Salento is the town closest to Valle de Cocora, which is a beautiful destination (you can check out my vlog from here below!). We stopped by Salento and got caught in the chaos of Christmas! Since this was filmed a while ago, I wanted to touch base of what is currently happening in the world. COVID19 has affected us all quick drastically and I posted an update on it yesterday, the link is below. It is a chaotic time in all of our lives, I was supposed to be leaving to Miami today to celebrate my birthday and attend Ultra Music Festival and Miami Music Week, but I will be spending the day at home instead. While I'm saddened by the changes in my plans, this virus is extremely serious and travel is the last thing that should be done at a time like this. Please do your part and act responsibly, practice social distancing and keep yourself and those around you safe.
