In this episode of Copenhagen Walks we invite you to make a 1 day journey in the city by ferry and metro and explore 3 different parts of Copenhagen: Teglholmen and Sluseholmen that live on water, the new urban district Bellakvarter in Ørestad with its remarkable Bella Sky Hotel designed by 3XN, and very architectural South Ørestad (Vestamager metro station) with the famous and iconic '8 House' (built in the shape of a figure 8) designed by Bjarke Ingels Group BIG with its amazing landscape of Naturpark Amager around. We will also find some fascinating wooden pavilions by ADEPT hidden in nature.
'8 House' received the 2012 AIA Institute Honor Award for Architecture that recognizes achievements that elevate the general quality of the architectural practice.

First impressions of Copenhagen, Denmark.
We were pleasantly surprised by the number of tourist attractions and historical landmarks in Copenhagen.
From the world's oldest amusement park, Tivoli Garden, to the picturesque Nyhavn lined with colorful buildings and a beautiful canal.
If you are looking for things to do in Copenhagen, the city got something for everyone!
We also tried some traditional and famous Danish food such as Danish pastries, hot dogs, and smørrebrød (Danish open sandwich). Everything was delicious! We opt for more budget friendly places, rather than fancy restaurants because Denmark, especially Copenhagen is expensive!

4K Virtual Walk - Nivå Strandpark, Denmark - We take a look at a Windsurfing competition in Nivå 🏄
I was lucky to catch a Windsurfing Competition in Nivå Harbour. It was a windy day, so they had perfect conditions.
The competition is called: 1. afdeling af DBO Danmarksmesterskaber 2021 for iQFoil, Fin-slalom, Kona.
They were a bit to long away for me to get good footage. But I managed to get some great footage at the end, when the competition was done, and the surfers is coming back on land.
I would like to thank Nivå Surf Klub, for letting me film while I was there 👍

I finally got to do my first solo overnight camping... it's not wild camping in the middle of nowhere, but it is a start. I did learn quite a bit and took away some good points for next time. Walking up SKOVTÅRNET (THE FOREST TOWER), DENMARK - Spring 2020 (4k UHD - 60fps)
This is the long version of us walking to the top of Skovtårnet (The Forest Tower). The tower is located in Denmark on the southern part of Sjælland (Zealand), which is the largest island i Denmark and the 13th largest island in Europe.
The tour starts at around 10:00 at the entrance, and is captured in the beginning of May. May is spring in Denmark and the weather in the video is typical for this time of the year.
The walk is 3.2 km long and takes around 2 hours. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we did!
