If you enjoy these videos I would love to hear about it. We look at the best and worst cities, states, towns, and neighborhoods in the United States. Occasionally we do other countries. Most of the time focus on the negative side of locations. That is just what people want to see.
If you only want some happy positive information about a city, town, or state, I would suggest looking up local mortgage and real estate companies or maybe the locations website. They are trying to sell you something so it will be nothing but sunshine, rainbows, and a bunch of smoke up your skirt. They won't tell you about crime, poverty, or insurance you'll need because of natural disasters. I will.

MY TOP 20 MUSEUMS LIST:

US 84 - Muleshoe to Lubbock, Texas

US-84 enters into Texas at Farwell, concurrent with US-70 from New Mexico. The US-70 overlap ends in Muleshoe. US-84 bypasses the towns of Littlefield and Shallowater before entering Lubbock. The highway just passes north of the Texas Tech University campus and enters downtown as Avenue Q. As Avenue Q, the highway parallels I-27 before crossing it, just north of that highway's southern terminus. Leaving the city, US-84 serves the towns of Post and Snyder before reaching Roscoe, where it begins its overlap with I-20.

The two highways run through Sweetwater before reaching Abilene. US-84 leaves the interstate on the western side of the city, running with I-20's business loop. US-84 joins US-83/US-277, with US-277 leaving the concurrency after a short distance. US-84 leaves US-83, northeast of Tuscola. US-84 runs southeast to Coleman, overlapping with US-283 in the process and joining US-67. After leaving Brownwood, US-84 leaves US-67 and joins US-183. US-84 becomes a solo route again in Goldthwaite, traveling through Gatesville. In Gatesville, the hwy meets SH-36, which coincidentally also runs to Abilene, albeit in a more direct way than US-84.

East of McGregor, US-84 becomes a 4-lane divided highway before becoming a freeway in Woodway. At SH-6, US-84 becomes a surface street, running through Waco. The highway enters Bellmead before leaving the Waco area. Several miles to the east, the highway enters Palestine. US-84 runs through several smaller communities before crossing over the Toledo Bend Reservoir, into Louisiana, running towards Mansfield.

US-84 is part of the El Camino East/West Corridor, which spans five states starting in Texas

✦ GEAR I USE ✦

📸 Cameras:
---------------------------------------------------
I get a lot of questions about the cameras I use. Here are my main cameras:
• [GoPro Hero 13](
• [GoPro Hero 13 Creator Edition] (
This is a very durable camera. It withstands the elements and can go places other cameras can’t. There are many accessories available for GoPro cameras which makes the camera endlessly customizable and versatile. If you are intending to make vlogs or travel videos where you speak, you might prefer the creator edition which comes with more accessories.

• [DJI Osmo Pocket 3](
• [DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Creator Combo] (
This little handheld camera is very easy to pack because of its small size. It is not as rugged as the GoPro, but is easy to carry and make stable video. I use the creator combo version which includes an additional battery and a microphone that can be clipped to your shirt for improved audio which I like for filming walking tours.

🔋 Other useful tech:
---------------------------------------------------
• [DJI OM 6](
This device attaches to a smartphone to help record more stable video.
• [GoPro Enduro Battery](
An extra battery for the GoPro.
• [Anker USB-C Cable](
A flexible and durable charging cable that charges quickly.
• [Anker USB-C Power Bank](
These are great for recharging my phone or cameras while traveling, and are also useful for power outages.
• [Anker MagGo Power Bank] (
This battery connects directly to the back of iPhones that have MagSafe and can charge the phone without the use of a cable.
• [Samsung Micro SD Card 256 GB](
This memory card works on most small cameras, and can record for a long time.
• [Samsung 2TB SSD Portable SSD](
I take this hard drive with me when I travel so that I can back up the footage that I record on my trip. It fits in one of the pockets inside my tech case, and holds a lot of footage.

✈️ Travel gear I like:
---------------------------------------------------
• [Peak Design Travel Duffel](
This durable bag fits easily into the overhead compartments on airplanes and the straps can be configured to be comfortably worn as a backpack, which is nice for long walks through an airport.
• [Peak Design Tech Pouch Large](
• [Peak Design Tech Pouch Small] (
I have both sizes, and have used the larger one consistently for many years. They are incredibly durable, and nicely fit all of my camera gear. I like that I can fit a GoPro inside of the larger one, along with cables, SD Cards, a battery and a small hard drive. People traveling with less gear or less space in their bags might prefer just the smaller pouch.
• [Wetcat Turkish Beach Towel] (
This towel spreads out large, but packs up tiny and dries quickly. I have disliked every other pack towel I have ever used, but this one is made of cotton and feels soft and does not have a funny smell.
• [Yeti Cooler]( )
Buying food when traveling gets expensive, so I try to pack as much food as I can. This cooler keeps things fresh for a long time. It also means that I can pick up local foods when I go places and bring them home with me.

🎧 Audiobooks:
---------------------------------------------------
I listen to lots of audiobooks while on the road. Get started with a free audiobook here:

Muleshoe Bend Recreation Area | LCRA Parks

On the south side of Lake Travis, Muleshoe Bend Recreation Area provides a scenic mixture of wide-open spaces and tree-lined trails. The park's namesake comes from its location at the end of a peninsula, which forms the horseshoe-shaped bend in the lower Colorado River.

With almost 10 miles of multiuse trails ranging from beginner to intermediate levels, Muleshoe Bend Recreation Area has earned the reputation of being a mountain biker’s ultimate playground. But don't be scared, novice riders! There are also plenty of trails to get your feet wet in this sport. Our LCRA Parks staff even offer introductory classes, along with other guided activities, you can register for each month. Not to mention, the park has introduced QuietKat electric bike rentals for those looking for a thrilling ride.

The park is not only popular for bikers, but also hikers and campers looking for an adventure. There are 34 primitive campsites sprinkled among the oak trees for visitors wishing to spend the night under the starry Texas sky. In March and April, Muleshoe Bend Recreation Area can sometimes be a premiere Central Texas destination for bluebonnet fields, so you have to check back for wildflower updates!

Other ways visitors may enjoy the water is by swimming, fishing and utilizing the park's boat ramp.

A quick 360 of this campground.
-----------------------------------------

Shari G.'s Review on The Dyrt:

▶︎ Completely Empty in January
This pretty recreational area on the banks of the Colorado River, was practically deserted when we visited in early January. Within an hour’s drive of Austin, this area offers a quick getaway spot to get out into nature. With several camping areas scattered throughout the park, you can either be in full sun or under the oak trees.
Campsites are spread out giving each a spacious area, with expansive views of the river bank and the rather opulent houses on the far side. Port-o-potties are scattered throughout the park to provide facilities, but just next to the entrance station there is a flush facility with an outside shower. The facility also has an ice and drinking water vending kiosk.  No electrical hook-ups, so bring your solar panels.  The park has great opportunities for hiking, mtn biking, and horseback riding. The river offers a great spot to paddle, since there is not much current an out and back trip is easily done. Fishing also seems to be a popular activity, so bring all the toys!
There are a few nearby grocery stores, as well gas stations within 10 miles, but you should plan to bring all of your own necessities.
