Mount Isa, Queensland to Pine Creek, Northern Territory - Adventure 20
We travel from Mount Isa in Queensland, Australia through Camooweal across the border to the Northern Territory. First stop Barkly Homestead. What a lovely place to stay. We spent a couple of days relaxing before continuing our journey to Banka Banka Station. We take a walk up to the lookout on the property and enjoy the peace and quiet. The next morning we are off to Daly Waters Pub. What a quirky place! They certainly do things different in the NT! Off again and we were going to stay at Bitter Springs however were having some trouble with the truck so went straight on to Katherine. We got everything sorted in Katherine, stocked up our supplies, enjoyed the town pool and hot springs. We stayed at the Boab Caravan Park. Next stop, Pine Creek, southern gateway to Kakadu National Park and an overnight at the Lazy Lizard Caravan Park and Tavern. We hope you enjoy the video and it gives you some insight and ideas for your travels. Until next time...

Conquering Queensland with Sean Scott - Mount Isa
Our Ambassador Sean Scott has been spending a lot of time traveling around the magical outback in Queensland. Here he talks about his time in Mount Isa.
Ep. 023 Mount Isa
In this video, we hang out with our good friend Jade and her family, while exploring what Mount Isa has to offer. First we check out the visitor information centre (which is one of our hot tips for checking out new areas), this particular info centre has a few attractions built in. The heritage display is self guided and a good insight into Mt Isa and its history. Just outside is the Outback park which is an awesome display of native Australian plants and wildlife all incorporated within the info centre. There is also the Rodeo hall of fame showcasing the biggest event in central Queensland. Lastly we check out the Riversleigh Fossil Centre, an amazing display of a world renowned fossil site - which is not very well known about but something we Australians should be very proud of. All of this in the one Information centre - what a place!
We then go exploring to try and find the Heywood granite mine (spoiler we didn't find it) we had an awesome time trying to find it though. Jade also got to experience some 4WDing for the first time.
We hope you like the video, if you would like to see more please like the video and consider subscribing.
