Cypress Gardens is about 40 minutes away from downtown Charleston, Sc. Its really nice to walk around and take in all the sites. From November to February you can bring your dog with you. There are also boat rentals for 5 dollars. They have a butterfly garden, a Swamparium and a great walk around the cypress swamp and ponds.

Hatchery Boat Landing Hiking Path Lake Moultrie Moncks Corner
View from the end of the hiking path at Hatchery Boat Landing. Sometimes known as the “Hatchery Waterfowl Management Area”, this 2400-acre South Carolina park has several short hiking trails. It is also a very popular fishing spot on the shores of Lake Moultrie, with lots of waterfront views. The landing is located just 8 miles northwest of Moncks Corner.
