This is the video that shows the cottage that we spent to weeks at in Portugal. A winery, vineyard in Central Portugal. There is a Manor house and apartments/ accommodation to rent on the property. It was very private and had a porch looking onto the vineyards, there was also a pretty private pool.

Miranda do Corvo
Miranda do Corvo, é uma vila do distrito de Coimbra, o centro histórico de é um núcleo coeso atravessado pelo rio Dueça, a partir do qual se desenvolveu a vila. O velho casario, apesar de ter sofrido às agruras do tempo, mantém a sua integridade, resistindo assim às agressões da vida moderna.
No alto do Calvário, uma encosta onde outrora havia um castelo, o Cristo Rei abraça a vila.
Miranda do Corvo, is a town in the district of Coimbra, the historical center of is a cohesive nucleus crossed by the river Dueça, from which the village was developed. The old house, despite having suffered the hardships of time, maintains its integrity, thus resisting the aggressions of modern life.
At the top of Calvary, a slope where once there was a castle, Christ the King embraces the village.

The property sits on a plot of approximately 690m2 and has a constructed area of 235m2. The bungalow is located by a very quiet country lane with nice views of the surrounding countryside.
The front door of the property opens onto an entrance hall with fitted shelving and storage cupboards. From here you pass into a spacious open-plan area with the lounge to the front of the bungalow. The front of the lounge has patio style doors that look out onto the front garden. At the rear of the lounge is the fully fitted kitchen and dining area. The kitchen units are high quality polished hardwood with granite work surfaces. There is an electric oven, induction hob, extractor, dishwasher, fridge freezer and microwave. The floor in this area is ceramic tile that goes well with the hardwood kitchen. The utility room that houses the washer and drier is also off the kitchen area.
From the lounge you can access the 3 double bedrooms and second bathroom. The master en/suite bedroom is located at the front of the property. This has nice views of the garden and distant town of Miranda do Corvo. The master en/suite has a shower cubicle, bidet, W.C. and basin and is fully tiled. The other 2 double bedrooms are in this area as is the second bathroom that has a bath with overhead shower, W.C., bidet and basin.
Back in the lounge are the hardwood stairs that lead up to huge open-plan area that is currently being used as an office and play area. There is under eaves storage and a small room with low headroom to the front of the property. This room has been pre-installed with water and drainage pipes. The attic area is full of natural light and would make a great studio, hobby area, gym, the options are endless...
Exterior:
There is a sliding metal gate at the front that opens onto the driveway at the side of the property. Part of the driveway is covered to shade the vehicles in the summer months. At the rear is a large detached annex that is currently being used for storage. This space could be used for many purposes including workshop, studio, play area, guest accommodation etc. Also at the rear is a covered BBQ area for alfresco dining. There is also an area by the side of the property that would make a nice kitchen garden.
The property, which is in very good condition throughout, has aluminium double glazing and hot and cold air conditioning. Provision has also been made to install a wood burning stove should the new owner wish to.
The town of Miranda do Corvo has a very cosmopolitan feel but still retains its Portuguese charm. The town is overlooked by the old clocktower and the 19th century church looking down on the river. There is a weekly market every Wednesday and monthly flea market in the town square in front of the town hall. Our real estate office can also be found in the middle of the square. The town has banks, health centre, hospital, supermarkets, municipal swimming pool, arts and music centre, restaurants, cafes and more!
