Is Mardan a city or village?
Mardan - Wikipedia
Located in the Valley of Peshawar, Mardan is the second-largest city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (after Peshawar). It is a fast-growing city that experienced a population boom in the latter half of the twentieth century.
Why is Mardan called Mardan?
Mardan is a city and the headquarters of Mardan District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan. The name Mardan was given to a small area after the name of Pir Mardan Shah, a prominent religious figure. Gradually, a large surrounding area came to be known as Mardan.
What is the famous food of Mardan?
The local Mardan-style falooda comes in a bowl instead of a glass, and contains milk, creamy malai, vermicelli noodles, jellies, and a hard and icy ice cream called kulfi. It's one of the most unique faloodas I've ever had, but also one of the tastiest.
