A wast area over 20 acre's portraying all the goodness of nature,a big grassland and a play area. Opposit to this is the mesmerizing talk of the town which is the Kodaikanal lake. This place has an amazing variety of boating options from which you can pick to your liking.
We then went to chettiar park that looks like a little replica of Bryant park with a little nursery from where you can purchase plants, saplings and seedlings.
And we wrapped up for the day and went back to our stay. Relaxed and had our dinner by the campfire.
DAY 2
After refreshments and breakfast we checked out of our stay and headed to Moir point that's built as a tribute to Moir. This place has an insanely amazing view of Kodaikanal and it's beauty.
Next was the line forest where the majority of 80's & 90's Movies romance, Stunts and fight scenes were filmed.
You can enjoy the view as it is or go on a horse back.
Then we visited guna cave where we were expected to trek down for around 1000 metres.
Next was the pillar rock a mesmerizing beauty with mist around then we headed to green valley view point which will also be our final stop where we will be dropped off.

The city's name Thanjavur is believed to be derived from the name of a Mutharayar king, Thananjay or Dhananjaya. Thananjaya (Dhananjaya) added to -Oor gives the name Thanjavur. The Kalamalla stone inscription (the first stone inscription) was made by the Renati Chola king, Erikal Muthuraju Dhanunjaya Varma of 575 CE[citation needed]. However. according to a local legend, the word Thanjavur was derived from Tanjan, who was a Demon[2][3] who was killed on this very place and that asura asked to make a beautiful city there in Hindu mythology and later the asura(giant) was killed in what is now Thanjavur (formerly Tanjore) by the Hindu god Neelamegha Perumal, a form of Vishnu.
Mannargudi is the fifth largest town in delta region after Thanjavur, Kumbakonam, Thiruvarur, and Nagapattinam.
Mannargudi was founded as an agraharam village by the Medieval Cholas during the 7th century A.D. The town was subsequently ruled by various dynasties including the Chola king Rajadhiraja Chola (1018–1054 CE), Vijayanagar Empire, Delhi Sultanate, Thanjavur Nayaks, Thanjavur Marathas and the British Empire. Mannargudi was a part of the erstwhile Tanjore district until India's independence in 1947 and Thanjavur district until 1991. It subsequently became a part of the newly formed Tiruvarur district. The town is known for agriculture, metal working and weaving. The region around Mannargudi has considerable mineral deposits.

A ring road will be laid for 22 km around Mannargudi. The road will connect three State Highways apart from a few rural roads in Tiruvarur district.
The formation of the ring road will pave the way for reducing the traffic congestion in Mannargudi in a big way and connection of rural roads with the proposed ring road will go a long way in the transportation of the agricultural produce to the nearby towns with much ease.The ring road will connect Kumbakonam–Mannargudi–Adirampattinam road (State Highways No. 66); Tiruvarur–Mannargudi–Muthupettai Road (SH No. 22); Mannargudi–Sethupavasamuthiram Road (SH No. 46); and other roads including Mannargudi–Tirumakottai–Sokkanavur Road; Mannargudi–Orathanadu–Tiruvonam road and a few rural roads.
The proposed ring road will pass through the revenue villages of Moondramsethi, Bhamini, Aravathur, Ramapuram, Kailasanathar Koil, Nangamsethi, Serankulam, Koppiralayam, Neduvakottai, Kumarapuram, Karikottai, Melavayal, and Moovanallur.
District Collector M. Mathivanan inspected the State Highways that would be connected with the ring road and visited all the villages on Tuesday to gain first hand information on the project.
