This video was shot on 7th April 2023, below are the activities we did throughout the day.
Gorakhgiri hill - Shiv Tandav Temple (Mahoba) - This is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It hosts a large idol of God Shiva dancing in his fierce Tandav form. This temple is situated on Gorakh Hills. It is said that once Shree Rama also visited Gorakhgiri hills.
Betel Leaf Farming - In between we also visited a betel leaf farm and got to know how they grow betel leaves and are supplied all over states.
Vijay Sagar Bird Sanctuary (Mahoba) - It has been developed on the shores of Vijay Sagar, a charming lake built by Vijay Pal Chandela during the 11th century. The migratory birds flock here in winter. You can find many bird species here. Best time to visit is morning and evening. Oct to March is also the best time to visit this sanctuary.
Ticket - Rs 30 per person
Charkhari - This is also called as the Kashmir of Bundelkhand. The beauty of this place is its lakes. There are lakes named Vijay Sagar, Malkhan Sagar, Vanshi Sagar, Jai Sagar, Ratan Sagar and Kothi Tal.
There are 108 temples of Krishna giving nature and beauty to Charkhari city. One of the famous temples is Guman Bihari temple.
Old Palace (Charkhari) - It is the Historical Landmark in Charkhari which is soon going to become a heritage sight for tourists. Built by the Rajput rulers of Bundelkhand. The palace has a beautiful entrance gateway, the Deori darwaza and a very impressive Darbar Hall.
Hotel Shri Hari (Orai) - We ended our day at Orai and booked a room in this hotel, stay at this hotel was below average, there are not many hotel choices in Orai.

Mahoba is a District in UP- Bundelkhand has great history behind it and now Mahoba is being developed as a tourist attractions, so people can come here and learn about it and explore water bodies around the city and district.

We started our day by visiting Alha Udal chowk in mahoba.
Breakfast - We had Bhajiya & Jalebi in breakfast near Paan Mandi.
Keerat Sagar - There we met with two locals, who sung Alha- Udhal song.
Alha- Udhal is the name of the legendary 12th Century Generals who won several wars and were based out of Mahoba.
They were the Generals of Chandela king - Parmal.
Madan Sagar - There is floating bridge
Lunch with verma ji farm house - contact number - 9005554460
Alha Udhal fort - It is believed that this fort was used by Alha Udhal in the past 12th century and this is located near Salat village. If you plan to go there, keep a local person with you otherwise you may miss your route.
Sun temple - We really liked and enjoyed watching the light and sound show at Mahoba sun temple.
This has been nicely done by the DM of Mahoba with support from UP Government.

Sun Temple Mahoba (सूर्य मंदिर महोबा का रहस्य) - Drone view | Historical Place of India
Long before Narasimhadeva-1 thought about carving the magnificent Sun Temple in Konark, the Chandela kings of Central India got rocks in Bundelkhand shaped to worship the Sun. While the Konark temple belongs to the 13th century, Mahoba's Sun Temple was built even earlier, as far back as the 10th century.
राहिला सागर सूर्य मंदिर सूर्य भगवान को समर्पित है। 9वीं सदी में बनाया गया यह तीर्थ स्थल राहिला सागर के पश्चिमी छोर पर स्थित है। इसे शक्तिशाली चंदेल शासक ने बनवाया था। चंदेलों ने 890 से 910 ईस्वी तक पड़ोसी राज्य मध्यप्रदेश में शासन किया था। यह भव्य मंदिर इस समय काफी उजड़ गया है। यह इस क्षेत्र के पुराने प्रतिहारा शैली वास्तुशिल्प का एक बेहतरीन नमूना है।

Chitrakoot is about 225 km away from Lucknow and 295 km away from Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. Its one of the most famous religious place of our country.

This video was shot on 5th April 2023, below are the activities we did throughout the day.
We started our day from Arogya Dham, Chitrakoot.
Tariff Rs 5500 with GST for double occupancy. Stay at Arogya dham was very good, though the tariff seems high but this place can easily accommodate 4 to 5 people.
Bharat Koop - It is a place known for its temple and well. According to the epic Ramayana, It is said when Shree Bharat came to know that Shree Ram had gone into exile.
He collected sacred water of all the rivers with him so that Lord Rama could become King of Ayodhya with ritual ceremony. It's also believed that taking a bath in this well is the same as taking a bath in the holiest pilgrimage destinations of India.
Kalinjar Fort - This fort was built by the Chandelas which represents a grand architecture of the reign of the Chandela dynasty. There are many buildings and temples inside this fort. One of the main attractions of this fort is the Neelkanth Temple which is built inside the fort. Statues of Lord Shiva, Kaal Bhairav, Ganesh, Nandi and other gods are carved on the stones on the way to the temple.

Bambeshwar Temple - The main deity of this temple is an incarnation of Lord Shiva. It is believed Rishi Bamdev lived and worshiped in this hill and it is believed that he established Shiva mandir on the hill.

महोबा जंक्शन मे बनेंगे दो नये प्लेटफार्म
महोबा जंक्शन रेलवे स्टेशन मे कुल प्लेटफॉर्म अब 3 से 5 हो जाएँगे. इससे ट्रेनो को आउटर पर खड़ा नही करना पड़ेगा. नये प्लेटफॉर्म बनाने के लिए रेलवे हास्पिटल और मनोरंजन केंद्र हाल को तोड़ा जाएगा.
सांसद पुष्पेंद्र सिंग बघेल ने रेल मंत्री पीयूष गोयल से हुई बातचीत के बाद इस बारे मे जानकारी दी.

उन्होने बताया की अभी तक महोबा मे तीन प्लेटफार्म थे जिससे एक साथ ट्रेनों के आने से आउटर पर गाड़ी खड़ी होने से यात्री परेशान होते थे. अब नई गाड़ियाँ स्वीकृत होने से प्लेटफार्म नंबर चार और पाँच का निर्माण कराया जाएगा.
