Washington State : Lynden & Fairhaven (Bellingham)
Washington State USA in this video. We start in the Dutch town of Lynden, Washington. The main street is completely accessible and flat with plenty of parking. Then we continue south to Bellingham. We visit the Victorian styled neighborhood of Fairhaven. Fairhaven was a cute stop but it's all hill and parking is very limited. People with mobility issues will find this difficult. fortunately you can get a great vibe from this neighborhood from the car. We finish the video on Taylor Dock in Boulevard Park in Fairhaven. This dock is flat and completely accessible. You can walk the entire dock or just a small section.

Our LAST summer adventure is hiking the Chain Lakes Loop trail at Mount Baker. We also spend a day exploring Lynden, Washington, also known as the raspberry capital of the world and the largest Dutch settlement in Washington state.
Located near Artist Point, the Chain Lakes Loop is an easy trail that has the best views of Mount Baker and Mount Shuksan.

The purpose of this video is to determine where the safest cities to live are in Washington. Those places where crime is usually something you hear about on Facebook, but not from your local paper.
We analyzed cities in Washington with a population of more than 5,000 using the latest FBI crime data.

Demze n Biff head down to Bellingham to see The Hu at the magnificent Mt Baker Theatre. We then stayed overnight and trekked back to Vancouver the next day, not before calling in Everson to visit an O'Reilly's and then to Lynden for a walk around. Lynden is just a few minutes from the border, it does have a small airport so we decided to do some active tracking on the RAV4 in the local park. Never used the active track on the car before, so it was cool to max out the speed at 10m/s approx.

This is the US Coast Guard landing near Lynden WA. They usually do not land, but they landed for training purposes with the FD's. The copter was big enough that they had a hard time landing in the LZ that was provided. Good job guys.
Linden - a Dutch town in Washington state or how we ended up on the border with Canada
Lynden, WA, 2 hours by car from Seattle
Who would have known that if you want to eat Dutch olieballen, you don't need to fly for 9 hours, but just go 2 hours towards Canada. And 10 kilometers before the border, turn into a small village - with the same fields, but the mountains on the horizon still hint where we are.
The town is small - only 15 thousand inhabitants, where many Dutch immigrants began to arrive at the beginning of the 20th century, but nowadays very few people speak the language of their ancestors - if there is no practice, then with generations it is simply forgotten ...
Well, of course, without mills! There are even two of them - one miniature, and the other full-size, with a cafe inside. By the way, at one time this city held the record for the number of churches per square kilometer and per population.
Among other things, this city is convenient due to the fact that there is a checkpoint of the American-Canadian border nearby, where there is usually almost no queue, since it is on the sidelines.

Episode 10 of NOMADMax takes us from Lynden, Washington back to Longmont, Colorado by way of visiting Woodstock School class and schoolmates: Ken Waldock, Margo Warner Curl, Sarah Rice, Robert Fleming, David Wagner and Mary Ruth Powell. An unplanned but delightful stop was the Golden Spike Historical Park in Utah.
