Did you know there are multiple lines to choose from outside the Pyramid - several for timed tickets purchased online and a completely different line for those that haven't purchased tickets yet (which we do not recommend!) There's also only 2 entrances that work well for those needing handicap access. There's only 1 entrance for those with group/tour tickets. And there's an entrance that's easy to access from the metro which is the perfect entrance for bad weather!

The Louvre is not only one of the best art museums in the world, it’s also one of the biggest. There are 35,000 objects on display out of a collection of 380,000. This walking tour features part 1 of the Louvre Museum in Denon Wing. First, a walk around before accessing the museum floor. Further on, a great display of the Greek and Roman antiquities and its famous statues; Aphrodite, Vénus de Milo, Winged Victory of Samothrace and The Virgin and Child with four Angels . Followed by the decorative arts (paintings) area from Spain, France, Italy including the Mona Lisa.
Unfortunately, the day that I recorded this virtual tour, it was extremely busy due to bad weather. But normally the museum is rather peaceful and quite. In this video, I'm taking you on a whirlwind tour of Paris in just 1 day. We'll start with a visit to a local market then we will visit the Arc De Triumph, then we we'll walk along the Champs Elysees, one of the most famous streets in the world. Our next stop is the Louvre, one of the world's most famous museums. We'll see the Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo, and many other masterpieces. Then, we'll head to the Eiffel Tower, the symbol of Paris. We'll take a ride to the top for stunning views of the city.

If you're on a budget, there are many free things to do in Paris, such as visiting the Tuileries Gardens, walking across the Pont Neuf, and watching the sunset over the Seine River.
If you're planning on visiting the Louvre, be sure to buy your tickets in advance. The museum can get very crowded, especially during the summer months.
The Champs Elysees is a great place to walk, shop, and people-watch. Be sure to stop for a coffee or a crepe at one of the many cafes along the street.
