Summertime activities in the villages of Luvanjärvi and Hakokylä. Vuorilampi Nature Trail in the heart of Hyrynsalmi. An easy hike – surprising scenes. Hiidenkirkko is a spectacular geological attraction and the most impressive Gorge in Eastern Finland. Luvanjoki Waterway meanders over 50 km upstreams starting by the Russian border. It's a marked eco-fishing area. Kynäkoski Rapids is a well-known restoration of natural fish stocks.

Joensuu is a city in Finland and the provincial capital of North Karelia, located on the northern shore of Pyhäselkä in Saimaa at the mouth of Pielisjoki in the province of North Karelia. Joensuu is Finland's 12th largest city in terms of population. About 78,000 people live in the Joensuu city area. Joensuu's neighboring municipalities are Ilomantsi, Kontiolahti, Lieksa, Liperi, Rääkkylä and Tohmajärvi

Joensuu (Finnish: [ˈjoensuː] (About this soundlisten); Karelian: Jovensuu; lit. 'river's mouth') is a city and municipality in North Karelia, Finland, located on the northern shore of Lake Pyhäselkä (northern part of Lake Saimaa) at the mouth of the Pielinen River (Pielisjoki). It was founded in 1848. The population of Joensuu is 76,833 (March 31, 2021),[3] and the economic region of Joensuu has a population of 115,000.[8] It is the 12th largest city in Finland. The nearest major city, Kuopio in North Savonia, is located 136 kilometres (85 mi) to the west. From Joensuu, the distance to Lappeenranta, the capital of South Karelia, is 233 kilometres (145 mi) along Highway 6.
The neighboring municipalities of Joensuu are Liperi, Kontiolahti, Lieksa, Ilomantsi, Tohmajärvi and Rääkkylä. In addition, the city is part of the Joensuu sub-region, which currently also includes the municipalities of Heinävesi, Ilomantsi, Juuka, Kontiolahti, Liperi and Polvijärvi, as well as the town of Outokumpu.
As is typical of cities in Eastern Finland, Joensuu is monolingually Finnish. Along with Kuopio, Joensuu is one of major urban, economic, and cultural hubs of Eastern Finland. Joensuu is a student city with a subsidiary of the University of Eastern Finland, which has over 20,000 enrolled students,[9] and a further 4,000 students at the Karelia University of Applied Sciences

Syyskuussa 2022 teimme autolla mielenkiintoisen kuvausreissun Savon radalle. Matka alkoi Kouvolasta, josta edettiin pohjoiseen Mikkelin, Pieksämäen ja Kuopion ohi edelleen Lapinlahdelle ja Iisalmeen. Reissun lopussa poikkesimme myös Siilinjärvi-Viinijärvi -radalla Liperissä ja Outokummussa. Tämä neliosainen videosarja esittelee matkan varrella nähtyjä junia.
Sarjan viimeinen osa sisältää tavarajunia Outokummun ja Sysmäjärven seudulla Viinijärvi-Siilinjärvi -rataosalla. Satuimme todistamaan myös mäkeenjääntiä, kun T 58678 jäi jumiin mäkeen ilmeisesti märän kiskonpinnan takia. Vuonoksen päivystäjän Dv12-pari tuli noin puolen tunnin kuluttua työntämään junaa perästä käsin, jotta se pääsi mäen ylös.

Breakdancers on Aleksanterinkatu [Helsinki-Finland]
During my trip in Helsinki, i saw some breakdancers on the Aleksanterinkatu (well known shoppingstreet in Helsinki), and I wanted to share there action with you guys.
I don't know these people and the music is not the original music there where dancing on. The music was to blurry on the movie, so I changed it with the Change audio function here in YouTube
Hiukkajärvi talvella - Kauhajoki
Hiukkajärvi on Kauhajoella Päntäneen kylässä sijaitseva järvi. Kooltaan se on varsin pieni, vain 0,15 km2. Järvi kuuluu Kyrönjoen vesistöalueeseen. Hiukkajärven rannassa sijaitsee myös Päntäneen metsästysseuran omistama maja.
