廣州暢遊I北京路夜遊古道大佛寺及南越王宮城隍廟 (粵語現場解述) 2016 Heritage roads & Dafo Temple (Guangzhou), Guangdong
大佛寺位於中國廣東省廣州市越秀區惠福東路惠新中街21號，是一座佛教寺廟。大佛寺始建於南漢年間。當時的南漢開國高祖劉龑信奉佛教而又喜好建築宮殿，因此在廣州城區的東南西北四角各興建了七座佛寺，以對應天上二十八宿之數。這二十八座佛寺被稱為「南漢二十八寺」。現今的大佛寺的前身就是當時的二十八寺里的新藏寺，當時位於廣州城的西南角。宋代時，新藏寺同二十八寺中的其它寺廟一道逐漸荒廢。元朝時擴建為福田庵。明代初期朱元璋在位時，福田庵得以擴建。擴建時更名為龍藏寺。龍藏寺的規模很大，往南直到現今北京路麗都酒家附近（當時的南城腳），往北達到現在北京路與西湖路的交界（當時的枕拱北樓）。明朝末期，佛教式微，大佛寺也香火不濟，後來改建為巡按御史公署。
清朝順治七年，平南王尚可喜攻陷廣州，大肆屠城。作為巡按御史公署的大佛寺也毀於火災。然而據說尚可喜晚年常常感到「不祥之兆」，遂採用手下謀士的建議，皈依佛教，興建佛寺，以還屠城罪孽。後來安南王莫敬耀偕同其子莫元清都統使上京朝覲，路經廣州時，尚可喜設宴招待。席間真修和尚請求安南王資助木材。安南王一口承諾，捐助了大量優質的楠木。同時平南王尚可喜自捐王俸，重修寺廟。重修工程於康熙二年（1663年）動工，新寺廟在次年落成。大殿高、深、寬各30米，供奉三尊銅鑄佛像，分別為釋迦牟尼佛、阿彌陀佛、彌勒佛，各尊佛像高約6米、重10噸，故名大佛寺。
康熙六年（1667年），尚可喜之子成為駙馬，同固倫公主一起回廣州省親。當時尚可喜迎請了第五世班禪喇嘛及四十多位藏傳佛教高僧來到廣州，舉辦「無遮大會」，持續四十九天。雍正十一年（1733年）朝廷向全國佛門降諭旨，整頓沙門。而廣州知府選擇在大佛寺宣讀諭旨，並在大佛寺建了「宣諭亭」。這時的大佛寺達到其歷史上最鼎盛的時期，占地超過三萬平方米。住寺僧人眾多，香火旺盛。乾隆年間擴建，成為廣州五大叢林之一。道光十九年（1839年），林則徐到廣州查禁鴉片時，在大佛寺內設立「收繳菸土菸槍總局」。
民國十年（1921年），六榕寺、海幢寺、大佛寺和光孝寺的住持與陳隸簡、梁季寬、湯瑛等鑑於當時社會「世風日下，物慾橫流」，功利主義盛行而社會道德水準降低，於是聯合三十多人在大佛寺內成立「廣州佛教閱經社」，借弘揚佛法來影響社會。孫中山為此贈閱經社以「闡揚三密」匾。1922年，時任廣州市長的孫科將大佛寺大殿附近空地沒收充公並拍賣，以籌措北伐所需的軍餉。1924年，又計劃將全寺充公拍賣。當時的大佛寺住持敬勝和尚連同閱經社的名人出面向廣東省政府請願。陳濟棠到寺院調查後，認為大佛寺歷史悠久，有文物價值，遂努力將大佛寺基本架構（大殿、毗盧殿、禪堂、庫房、方丈堂、僧舍、齋堂等等）保留下來。1926年周恩來在此舉辦高級培訓班，為北伐培養軍政人才。
抗日戰爭期間，寺中的僧人大都離開，只留下三個人看守。廣州淪陷後，日偽政府的郵電部門占用了大佛寺部分地方，以堆放電信器材。抗戰結束後，原來寺中的僧人陸續回到大佛寺。1949年中華人民共和國成立後，大佛寺也被借用舉辦郵電員工訓練班和郵電工人子弟學校。這時的大佛寺僧眾稀少，香火零落。1956年，郵電工人子弟學校遷出，越秀區教育局占用大佛寺大堂作為惠新西街小學的課堂。在文化大革命中，因紅衛兵按當局的意思「破四舊」而將三尊佛像及觀音菩薩像「清出」大佛寺，肢解後送到西村南岸五金廠倉庫，準備冶煉。後來因周恩來批示得到保留。1972年尼克森訪華時因外交需要，六榕寺是其中一個景點，廣州市革命委員會便將被肢解的銅像找出來，焊接復原後移供到了六榕寺。1982年再由政府出資修復原狀，到1984年大雄寶殿落成後遷移進去，並由信徒捐資貼金。今天供奉在大佛寺的三尊大像，是仿照原型重新鑄造。1986年對外開放，1993年8月9日被公布為廣州市文物保護單位，2000年9月成立廣東省第一家開放的佛教圖書館。

Award winning Culinary Artist Chef Jimmy Zhang featured a Chinese zodiac culinary art showcase in celebration of the Year of the Ox at the 5th Annual Top 100 Chinese Restaurants in the USA Awards Show at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. Organized by Chinese Restaurant News, the Top 100 Chinese Restaurants Awards Show recognizes, cultivates and preserves the best in Chinese cuisine. Award winning Chef Martin Yan and Theresa Lin Cheng hosted the show and announced the winners.
Chef Jimmy Zhang is founder of Art Chef, Inc and is recognized as one of the best Chinese culinary produce artists. Zhang can transform carrots into mice, taro roots into birds or a sweet potato into a stallion. Zhang sculpts food into scenes from a fairy tale. 位於江西南昌的滕王閣是古代江南唯一的皇家園林，也是江南三大名樓之首。
坐落於江西省南昌市東湖區贛江之濱的滕王閣是江南三大名樓中最高的樓閣，樓高57.5米，共9層，由於閣的等級比樓高，因此滕王閣位居江南三大名樓之首。滕王閣分為上下部分，上半部為7層，採用了「明三暗七」的建築結構，而下半部則設有象徵古城牆的12米高底座，台座兩側有兩座分別名為「壓江亭」和「挹翠亭」（「挹」讀音：泣）的輔亭。
滕王閣是古代江南唯一一座皇家樓閣，始建於唐高宗永徽四年（公元653年），由唐太宗李世民的弟弟李元嬰擔任洪州都督時所建造。李元嬰將滕王閣當作達官貴人們品茗賦詩、賞花賞雪、聽琴觀畫的場所。後來，著名詩人王勃受邀登閣赴宴，寫下《滕王閣序》流傳千古，滕王閣從此名揚四海。
自1,300多年前建閣以來，滕王閣屢毀屢建，而在每一次的重建，規模都變得愈來愈大。目前我們所看到的滕王閣，便是在1989年落成的模樣，這是滕王閣第29次重建；在閣樓門柱上，還有毛澤東親筆手書《滕王閣序》中的一句：「落霞與孤鶩齊飛，秋水共長天一色」。
△ 歷史
滕王閣座落於南昌市西北，贛江東岸。始建於唐永徽四年。為當時任洪州都督的唐高祖李淵之子李元嬰所建。據記載，李元嬰於永徽三年遷任蘇州刺史，調任洪州都督時建此閣以為別居。由於李元嬰封號為「滕王」，故名滕王閣。20多年後，當時的洪州都督閻公首次重修。竣工後，閻公聚集文人雅士作文記事，途經於此的王勃就是於此時寫下了其代表名篇《滕王閣序》。並由此令滕王閣名揚四海。韓愈在《新修滕王閣記》中讚道：「愈少時則聞江南多臨觀之美，而滕王閣獨為第一，有『瑰偉絕特』之稱。」清代詩人尚鎔《憶滕王閣》詩云：「天下好山水，必有樓臺收。山水與樓臺，又須文字留。」
