View from Refuge Beacon Seymour Tower
The rescue beacon is there for when people get cut off by the tide and cannot reach the shore. The tides are very fast and high but also people do not realise that the sea comes in like a horseshoe so the water reaches the shore before it covers the area behind leaving people cut off.

Martello Tower in Aldeburgh (Suffolk)
A Martello Tower is a 19th century fort that was built to protect Britain from any attempts of invasion by Napoleon. Lots of Martello Towers were built along the East and South coast, most of them now have either been made into houses or been destroyed. But this one in Aldeburgh is owned by 'The Landmark Trust', where you can stay for a holiday it is right next to the sea and also have the River Alde is close by so pretty views are not that far away.
Boat ride before Taal Volcano Eruption
Here is a boat ride we took on Lake Taal before Taal Volcano erupted.
Taal Lake, formerly known as Bombón Lake, is a freshwater lake in the province of Batangas, on the island of Luzon in the Philippines. The lake fills Taal Caldera, a large volcanic caldera formed by very large eruptions between 500,000 and 100,000 years ago
