Mindanao 2022: Commuting from Cagayan De Oro and Walking Tour in Lala, Lanao Del Norte!
We visited Mindanao from August 3 to 11, 2022.
I planned to stay in Camiguin for a whole week, but I changed my mind and let my mother visit the place where she grew up for 2 nights (Aug 3 & 4), so we went straight to Lala, Lanao Del Norte. I'm glad I did because she was so happy seeing the place again after 40 years!
This video shows how we traveled from Laguindingan International Airport to Cagayan Terminal Bus Station. I couldn't film our trip from Cagayan to Iligan and then to Lanao Del Norte because I was so tired, and we had so many bags, so I couldn't keep holding my GoPro.
Walking on the rice fields and coconut trees with the kids the next day was fun; you could also see how excited and curious my mother was! Too bad I only filmed a few.

Tubod, officially the Municipality of Tubod, is a 2nd class municipality and capital of the province of Lanao del Norte, Philippines.
The Panguil Bay Bridge, once completed, will be Mindanao's longest bridge, and will connect Tubod to Tangub City in Misamis Occidental. The project, that will cost around US$125,519,000.00, will be obtained through Official Development Assistance of the Korean Export-Import Bank of Korea-Economic Development Cooperation Fund. The bridge is under construction and is expected to be commissioned on December 28, 2020.
