Czecho - Slovakia Scenic Drive - Kuty to Hodonin 4K UHD
Today let's watch scenic drive in western Slovakia - and Eastern Czech Republic - middle Europe. It was a drive between Kuty and Hodonin via multiple villages, Holic and Skalica towns. Video was created in 4K UHD resolution using latest Gopro Hero 7 Black and timewarp feature.

T 478.4 is a class of diesel locomotives designed, manufactured and used in the former Czechoslovakia and now used in the Czech republic (ČD Class 754) and Slovak republic (ŽSR Class 754). their distinctive cab design has led to the nickname goggles.

Ostrava is a city in the north-east of the Czech Republic and is the capital of the Moravian-Silesian Region. It is 15 km (9 mi) from the border with Poland, at the meeting point of four rivers: the Odra, Opava, Ostravice and Lučina. In terms of both population and area Ostrava is the third largest city in the Czech Republic, the second largest city in Moravia, and the largest city in Czech Silesia. It straddles the border of the two historic provinces of Moravia and Silesia. The population was around 300,000 in 2013. The wider conurbation – which also includes the towns of Bohumín, Doubrava, Havířov, Karviná, Orlová, Petřvald and Rychvald – is home to about 500,000 people, making it the largest urban area in the Czech Republic apart from the capital, Prague.
Since the 1990s Ostrava has been transformed into a modern cultural city, with numerous theatres, galleries and other cultural facilities. It hosts a wide range of cultural and sporting events throughout the year. Among the best known are the Colours of Ostrava multi-genre music festival, the Janáček May classical music festival, the Summer Shakespeare Festival and NATO Days. Ostrava is home to two public universities: the VŠB-Technical University and the University of Ostrava. In 2014 Ostrava was a European City of Sport. The city co-hosted (with Prague) the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in 2004 and 2015.

The Moravian-Silesian Region is one of the 14 administrative Regions of the Czech Republic. Before May 2001 it was called the Ostrava Region. The region is located in the north-eastern part of its historical region of Moravia and in most of the Czech part of the historical region of Silesia. The region borders the Olomouc Region to the west and the Zlín Region to the south. It also borders two other countries – Poland (Opole and Silesian Voivodeships) to the north and Slovakia (Žilina Region) to the east.
Once a highly industrialized region, it was called the Steel Heart of the Country in the communist era. There are, in addition, several mountainous areas where the landscape is relatively preserved. Nowadays, the economy of the region benefits from its location in the Czech/Polish/Slovak borderlands.

České dráhy (ČD) or Czech Railways is the main railway operator in the Czech Republic. In 2010 its consolidated revenues reached CZK 41.0 billion (€1.6bn, $2.1bn). Revenues from passenger transport amounted to CZK 18.7 billion (65% transfer payments from the government, 25% intra-state transport, 10% international transport), revenues from freight transport operated by subsidiary ČD Cargo amounted to CZK 11.8 billion, revenues from traffic control invoiced to state-owned railway infrastructure operator SŽDC amounted to CZK 5.2 billion. With thirty-eight thousand employees ČD Group is the largest Czech company by the number of employees.
The company was established in 1993, after the dissolution of Czechoslovakia as a successor of the Czechoslovak State Railways. It is a member of the International Railway Union (UIC Country Code for Czech Republic is 54), Community of European Railways and the Organization for Railways Cooperation (Asia and Europe).
Until 1 July 2008, České dráhy was the biggest employer in the Czech Republic. After experiencing regular losses and requiring government subsidies, the railway reported its first ever profit in 2007 although it receives government subsidies. Attempts to make it more efficient are currently ongoing and a recent plan to move passenger transport to an independent subsidiary was approved by the Czech government in January 2008.
ČD operates trains; fixed infrastructure (such as tracks) is managed by SŽDC. In December 2010, the Czech government proposed bringing SŽDC and ČD together in a single holding company. The government has also changed the subsidies available to ČD and SŽDC.
ČD Cargo, the cargo subsidiary, mainly transports raw materials, intermediate goods and containers. As of 2009, it is ranked in the top five largest railway cargo operators in Europe.

Cesky Krumlov: el pueblo más HERMOSO de República Checa (4K)
En el corazón de la República Checa, en Bohemia del Sur y a solo 200km de Praga, yace una joya de épocas pasadas, una ciudad que parece sacada de un cuento de hadas: Cesky Krumlov.

Patrimonio Unesco de la Humanidad, este pueblo medieval es una excelente opción para una excursión de uno o dos días desde la capital de Chequia, y es definitivamente el pueblo más hermoso y encantador del país (y uno de los más bonitos de Europa sin dudas).
Si vas a viajar, te cuento qué hacer y qué ver en este lugar que me enamoró.
Desde el momento en que llegué, me encontré inmersa en un ambiente mágico. Nuestra primera actividad fue un tour de la ciudad a pie, pero antes de hacerlo me levanté muy temprano para recorrer sola las calles adoquinadas y me dejé llevar por la historia que emanaba de cada rincón. Los edificios medievales, las plazas pintorescas y las fachadas adornadas me transportaron a una época pasada, haciéndome sentir como si hubiera retrocedido en el tiempo.
Una de las atracciones más impresionantes de Český Krumlov es su majestuoso castillo, que se alza en lo alto de una colina, vigilando la ciudad con gracia. Durante mi visita al castillo, quedé maravillado por la arquitectura imponente y los jardines exquisitos que rodean la estructura. La vista panorámica desde la torre del castillo me dejó sin aliento, ofreciendo una vista de ensueño de los tejados rojos y los ríos serpenteantes que rodean la ciudad.
Además de sumergirme en la historia, también tuve la oportunidad de ser parte de ella. En el Museo Fotoatelier, experimenté una sesión de fotos antigua, vistiendo trajes tradicionales y posando como si fuera un habitante de tiempos pasados. Fue una experiencia divertida y única que me permitió conectarme con la historia de una manera tangible.
Para los amantes de los viajes de aventura, Český Krumlov también ofrece emocionantes oportunidades. Una opción es la Vía Ferrata, escalando las empinadas paredes rocosas y admirando la belleza natural que rodea. La visita a la mina de grafito es también una experiencia educativa y fascinante, para aprender sobre la importancia de este mineral y cómo ha moldeado la historia de la región.
Una de las actividades más relajantes y pintorescas fue el paseo en balsa por el río Moldava (también conocido como Vltava). A medida que flotaba suavemente por las tranquilas aguas, pude disfrutar de vistas espectaculares de los edificios que se reflejaban en el río y de la naturaleza serena que rodea la ciudad, disfrutando de una copa y aprendiendo sobre la historia moderna y antigua de la ciudad.
El broche de oro del viaje fue la Noche barroca. Este evento se celebra dos noches al año, en verano, y es una experiencia única e históricamente fiel, donde tuvimos la oportunidad de experimentar la atmósfera de festividades teatrales y musicales celebradas en el siglo (18) XVIII en el castillo de Český Krumlov.
- Adultos y niños se visten con fieles trajes de época, replicando tradiciones, bailes, música, y hasta la iluminación con velas en muchas instancias casi exclusivamente
- Hasta me animé a bailar en grupo y fue muy divertido, aunque de eso no hay registro porque o bailaba, o grababa.
- El plato fuerte fue disfrutar una ópera en el Teatro Barroco del Castillo, una versión reducida de “Una cosa rara, Ossia Bellezza ed Onestà” del compositor español Vicente Martín y Soler
- Finalmente disfrutamos de un banquete en los jardines, y un elegante espectáculo de fuegos artificiales barrocos basado en fuentes históricas.
En resumen, mi visita a Český Krumlov fue una experiencia inolvidable llena de historia, aventura y belleza escénica. Esta ciudad mágica logró transportarme a través del tiempo y ofrecerme un vistazo auténtico a su rica herencia cultural. Desde el imponente castillo hasta las encantadoras calles empedradas y las actividades emocionantes, Český Krumlov se destaca como un destino verdaderamente excepcional que seguirá cautivando a los viajeros con su encanto atemporal. ¡Gracias por acompañarme en este travel vlog!

Magical Moravian Tuscany, Czechia - Timelapse Video 4K
Rolling hills and fields in Moravia, commonly nicknamed Moravian Tuscany / Moravské Toskánsko is a very popular area among landscape photographers. These soft rolling hills in Jižní Morava/South Moravia are pure joy to explore, although you might find yourself surrounded by many different photographers from different parts of the world, especially around iconic Santa Barbara chapel/Kaplička sv. Barbory.
It is not an obvious choice for timelapse as most photos/sequences are captured with very large zoom lens during very short period of the day, when there is a wonderful interplay of shadow and light. Since my last visit in the spring I wondered how to turn something apparently motionless into timelapse. Waiting long enough for shadows to move, is one thing, but considering the nicest parts last about 30 mins before sunset or after sunrise, it would take many days for just few minutes of video. Luckily autumn provides harvest time and preparation for next season, so agricultural machinery turned out to be great help in those wonderful wave like hills and fields. Relatively dry land, after extremely dry year, and rather windy conditions with low light from setting/rising sun, made for more photogenic result behind the tractors .
