This place having unique habitat of rare species of plants & animals. This place lies at deep forest so must go with local guide or person who known how to go there. There is a small temple of god pirteshwar . Its holly place so dont brings non veg , alcohols etc. While feeding to fishes dont try to catch them because as per local that fishes are symbols of god mean devotional so keep them safe. please area clean n bring garbage with u.

হুগলি জেলার পোলবা-দাদপুর ব্লকের অন্তর্গত প্রত্যন্ত কৃষ্ণপুর গ্রামে রয়েছে প্রায় তিনশো বছরের প্রাচীন, টেরাকোটা অলংকরণসমৃদ্ধ একটি মন্দির।

স্থানীয় ঘোষ বংশের পারিবারিক মন্দির এটি।
অপরূপ প্রাকৃতিক সৌন্দর্যে ভরা শান্ত নিরিবিলি পরিবেশ, তার মাঝেই উঁচু পাঁচিল ঘেরা মন্দিরচত্বর। মন্দিরচত্বরটি বিশাল পরিসরের। ফল ফুলের গাছগাছালিপূর্ণ, অত্যন্ত পরিপাটি, পরিচ্ছন্ন। এক প্রান্তে বেশ কয়েকটি বারান্দাসহ ঘরও নজরে পড়ে.... আর আছে এক সাধুর সমাধিস্থল।
আটচালা শৈলীতে তৈরি এই মন্দিরটি অল্প উঁচু একটি পাদপীঠের উপরে স্থাপিত। মূল প্রবেশপথ ত্রিখিলানবিশিষ্ট। মন্দিরের দক্ষিণদিকের দেওয়ালে একটি প্রতিষ্ঠালিপি আছে।
মন্দিরের সামনের দেওয়াল আর প্রবেশপথের খিলানস্তম্ভগুলোতে উঁচুমানের অসংখ্য পোড়ামাটির ফলকসজ্জা রয়েছে। এগুলো মূলতঃ রামায়ণধর্মী।
প্রবেশপথ পেরিয়ে ছোট একটি অলিন্দ। তারপরে গর্ভগৃহ। তবে গর্ভগৃহে আজ আর কোনো দেবতার অধিষ্ঠান নেই.....বিগ্রহহীন মন্দিরটি আজ পরিত্যক্ত। জানা গেল, আগে এটি শিবের মন্দির ছিল।
খিলান তিনটির স্তম্ভ আর ভিত্তিবেদীসংলগ্ন অংশটিও পোড়ামাটির ফলকে সজ্জিত। ভিত্তিবেদীর উপরের ফলকগুলোর দুটো সারির মধ্যে উপরের সারিতে কৃষ্ণকাহিনীর বিভিন্ন ফলক আর নীচের সারিতে সামাজিক দৃশ্য লক্ষ্য করা যায়।
বাঁকানো কার্নিশের নীচ থেকে ভিত্তিপ্রস্তর পর্যন্ত উল্লম্ব টেরাকোটার কুলুঙ্গির সারিতে আর খিলানফস্তম্ভের গায়ে রয়েছে বিভিন্ন পৌরাণিক দেবদেবী আর সামাজিক দৃশ্যাবলীর চিত্র। একটি ফলকে মিথুনমূর্তিও নজরে এলো, তবে তা ভগ্ন অবস্থায়।
অসংখ্য পোড়ামাটির ফলকে মোড়া অসামান্য এই সুপ্রাচীন দেবালয়টি আজ পরিত্যক্ত, কিন্তু নিয়মিত সংস্কারের ফলে জীর্ণতার লেশমাত্র নেই। পুরো মন্দিরচত্বরের পরিচ্ছন্নতা, নিরিবিলি পরিবেশ মনকে যেন এক আলাদা জগতে নিয়ে যায়।
