There's a viewing deck at the side of the highway to see the falls.

Bukidnon is a land blessed by the wonders of nature. Its mild climate, favorable altitude, moisture and terrain contribute to a spectacular landscape of forests and mountains as far as the yes can see. These natural wonders include elegant waterfalls from the many amazing networks of springs and streams that crisscross this blessed land. One particular waterfall of note has become the subject of fascination for many visitors to this province: Alalum Falls of Sumilao.
Alalum Falls can be found in the rural barangay of Kisolon and can be accessed through Sayre Highway. Even from there, one will be amazed at the sheer height of this spectacular falls, recorded around 148 feet. This particular falls is fed by an extensive network of natural spring, brooks and streams from high up in the mountains, coming together in a leisurely pace before the water gracefully flows downwards in a breathtaking spectacle.
The same clear, fresh and clear waters has given abundant life to the area surrounding it, with all manner of shrubs and trees and wildflowers that will give one the impression of being in paradise. There is a view deck where one can enjoy its beauty from a distance. There are also stone steps where one can descend to reach the foot of the falls.
The trip to see Alalum Falls of Sumilao, Bukidnon is a long one but it is definitely worth the effort. It is definitely a natural wonder we can all be happy of. To get there, one must ride a bus to Bukidnon from either Cagayan de Oro or Davao, and from Malaybalay to the barangay of Kisolon.

Impasug-ong is part of Bukidnon. Located next to Kisolon, Sumilao coming from Cagayan de Oro City going to Davao. Roughly, 85 kms from CDO. Nice place with the Rodeo Steak House along the road and display of images of natives. This is a farming community. Cool weather, too.
FAMILY TRIP TO IMPASUGONG, BUKIDNON
Impasugong is a first class municipality in the province of Bukidnon, Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 43,587 people.
Impasugong is strategically located in the northeastern part of the Province of Bukidnon. It is approximately 75 kilometres (47 mi) from Cagayan de Oro City, a good 1½-hour drive and it is half an hour away from Malaybalay City, the capital of the province.
With a total number of 13 barangays, it is characterized by mountains, deep canyons and gorges. The terrain is predominantly rugged with a significant slope of 18% and above covering 72% of the land area and distributed throughout the municipality.
