【4K Stroll】Kozan-ji Temple - Yamaguchi - Japan / Autumn Leaves in the Japanese Temple
✋Hello! Today, we can see not only the historically interesting temple, but also admire the beautiful autumn colors of the trees. The weather is favorable, the colors have beautiful contrasts. Let's walk in the footsteps of history, religion and nature.
Kinzan Kouzan-ji Temple was founded in 1327 and is located in the Chofu area of Shimonoseki City. Its main building Kōzan-ji's Butsuden was built in 1320 and is a National Treasure of Japan. The architecture of the building is Zen style and is a mix of Japanese and Chinese design features. This place is famous for the fact that in 1865, the Japanese politician and patriot Shinsaku Takasugi gathered an army here that led to the end of the Edo period in Japan. This greatly accelerated the beginning of the Meiji period, the time of great modernization of Japan, which had been closed to the world for several hundred years. His statue is located in the temple grounds.

Kinzan Kōzan-ji Temple
This is another Zen Buddhist temple, similar to Kōmyōzen-ji. The 'Temple' in both the aforementioned video's title as well as this one is redundant (that's what the 'ji' means), however for the sake of consistency I've kept them as they are.

Sado Island Gold Mine Japan 4K
Sado-shima is a large island north of the large provincial capital of Niigata . Sado Kinzan its gold and silver mine is its most notable feature. It was the largest gold mine in all of Japan for nearly a thousand years and was at its pinnacle one of the largest gold mines in the world. At its peak it was able to produce around 800Kg of gold and 35 tons of silver annually.
It was a source of wealth that directly translated into power for various samurai clans that controlled it throughout the centuries. In the Sengoku (warring states) period it fell under the pervue of a powerful warlord who used it to raise armies to conquer his neighbors. It was also instrumental in the Meiji period that saw Japan transform from a closed, feudal society to a modern advanced nation. The Sado mines lasted right up to 1989 before finally closing. Let's take a quick look.

The gold from Sado supported government finances in Edo era(about 400 years ago to about 150 years ago).
In Sado island , you can see unique features of this industrial heritage.
Also, Sado gold mine is aimed to be world heritage.

≪Over view of “Sado Island”≫
Sado is one of the most unique island in Japan.
It is famous for beautiful nature, delicious cuisine, and unique tradition.
Historically, a lot of culture were brought because some key people who played a big role in the political or cultural field spent their lives in Sado by political reasons.
For example, Noh, Temples modeled on which in Kyoto ,and so on.
Also, there was a Gold and Silver Mine in Sado island and it used to be main of gold producing area in Japan.
You can still visit there and learn history of this great heritage.
These unique backgrounds have grown up uniqueness of Sado Island.
In addition to plenty of nature and slow comfortable atmosphere of Sado, these tradition constitutes attraction of Sado and it is as if a miniature of Japan.
