We head to Kelso Reef where we celebrate Joanne's birthday.
Kelso Reef is located approximately 50 nautical miles (92km or 57 miles) north of Townsville and is a Green Zone in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park (no fishing is allowed).
We spend our time diving and snorkelling some of the healthiest and vibrantly coloured coral of the reef.

My good friend Salem and I went on a photography road trip to Orange, New South Wales. The aim of this trip was to take pictures of the vineyards in the area and the milky way at the Nangar National Park. I took my Canon 80D with my favourite lenses for landscape photography - Canon EFS 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM and the Canon USM 70-200mm f/4. I also brought along my 18-55mm STM kit lens to get some B-roll footage for this video. Salem used his new Nikon D500 with the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 Art Series lens and the Sigma 50-150mm f/2.8 telephoto lens, a great combo. Watch this video if you want to see some of the images we took that weekend. I will create a blog post soon and share our pictures with the settings.

🚙 WHAT: Day trip to Singleton 📍 WHERE: On the banks of the Hunter River about 144 km north west of Sydney and 70km inland from Newcastle. ❓❓ WHY: Jacarandas in bloom and visit the biggest sundial in the Southern Hemisphere. 📆 WHEN: November is the perfect time to see the Jacarandas. 🍴 FOOD: There's lots of good eateries. We had lunch at Worn Out Wares , a cafe and homewares business in George Street. Visitor Information: The tourist office is in Townhead Park. 🚻 Public toilets near the tourist centre.
