Solwezi || Kifubwa National Monument 💃|| Zambian YouTuber 🇿🇲
I went to the Kifubwa National Monument. 💃 A bit history of the place it is approximately three kilometers south of Solwezi, you’ll find the Kifubwa (aka Chifubwa) Stream Rock Shelter, one of Zambia's National Monument. It was discovered by archaeologist, Desmond Clark who excavated the cave in 1961, finding rock paintings which were quite unique. Not only were they the only etchings found in Zambia but they were also painted.🦋

Kafue National Park in Zambia: African Safari Diary #7
Covering more than 22,500 sq km (8687 sq mi), Kafue National Park is the largest in Zambia and one of the biggest in the world. With terrain ranging from the lush riverine forest of the Kafue River to the vast grassland of the Busanga Plains, the park rewards wildlife enthusiasts with glimpses of various carnivores and their nimble prey, including a good chance of sighting lions and leopards, and if you're lucky cheetahs in the north of the park, plus elephants, zebras and numerous species of antelope. There are some 500 species of birds too.
Kafue is one of the few parks in Zambia that’s easily accessible by public transport, with a handful of camps just off the highway.

West Lunga National Park Initiative | Northwest Zambia
Once described as a little known game reserve by W.F Ansell, author of An International History of Mammalogy (1991) this unique National park is in need of support. Located in the Northwestern Province of Zambia, Africa, the West Lunga National park has faced years of neglect through lack of development, poaching and inaccessibility. In 2014 the Trident Foundation, a not-for-profit, was established in a new town development near to the park. The Wildlife and Conservation department have undertaken the mammoth task to assist the Department of National Parks and Wildlife to manage the park. Coverage over the 12,000 square kilometers has increased, as resources for patrols and communications have improved. This initiative is in need of additional support. For more information on the project, and how to get involved, email the address below:

Pontoon at Kazungula
Kazungula is a border town and border crossing across the Zambezi River between Botswana and Zambia.
There has never been a bridge at that point, so crossing for all human and vehicular traffic has always been done by pontoon.
There is a new bridge under construction right now (Apr 2020) and is almost completed.
