This is my first time vlogging on this road and I discovered that it is more efficient and time saving when you rode on this road rather than to the usual road via Pangantucan and Maramag. From Kalilangan proper it takes 43km only up to the Municipal hall of Kadingilan, Bukidnon. Please watch the whole video to find out.

MT. KALATUNGAN | Pangantucan, Bukidnon : Philippines' 5th highest. Climb after Odette (PART 1)
We actually thought this climb will be cancelled due to Odette. It was supposed to be a 3 days 2 nights itinerary, but stuffs happen (tourism office didn't allow us to start the climb by Dec 17) so it was shortened to just 2 days 1 night.
With 8/9 difficulty, you will realize why it's not for beginners.
This is the part 1 of the famous Mt. Kalatungan traverse Mt. Lumpanag trail (Kalawiji). Will be uploading 3 parts of this series. Part 2 (Mt. Lumpanag) and Part 3 (DIY travel from Kidapawan to Pangantucan featuring the cleanest wet market in the Philippines).
I really enjoyed the trail at this point. Mt. Kalatungan has so much to offer.
