An in-depth look at Xiamen, China - The Heart of the Chinese Diaspora (福建省，厦门市)
If you travel anywhere in the world, you'll be able to find people whose roots are from China. If you engage in conversation with them and ask them where specifically they or their ancestors came from in China, it would be long before you hear people mentioning the name Fujian. The Fujianese have spread out all over the world, spreading their language (Minnan, 闽南语) and culture. You'll find them in the US, you'll find them all throughout Southeast Asia, and many other places as well. In this video, I go to the very city where much of it started - the place that to some significant degree, is one of the main sources of the Chinese diaspora: Xiamen City.
In this video I'll give you a look around the city and introduce you to some of the local cuisine. Enjoy the tour!

Der Fanjing-Berg befindet sich am Schnittpunkt der drei Landkreise Jiangkou, Yinjiang und Songtao in der Stadt Tongren, Provinz Guizhou, und ist der Hauptgipfel des Wuling-Gebirges mit einer Höhe von 2.572 Metern. Dieser Berg ist nicht nur ein staatlich anerkanntes Naturschutzgebiet Chinas, sondern auch ein UNESCO-Weltnaturerbe. Er ist bekannt für seine einzigartigen Naturlandschaften und seine reiche Biodiversität. Der Fanjing-Berg beherbergt beeindruckende hochalpine Steinwaldformationen, wie den berühmten Pilzstein und den Goldenen Gipfel der Roten Wolken, sowie ein gut erhaltenes subtropisches Urökosystem. Es ist der einzige Lebensraum des seltenen Guizhou-Goldaffen. Darüber hinaus besitzt der Fanjing-Berg eine tiefe kulturelle Bedeutung als buddhistische heilige Stätte mit zahlreichen historischen Sehenswürdigkeiten. I drove from Fanjingshan Mountain Scenic Area, Jiangkou, Tongren to Zunyi, Guizhou, China on September 23, 2020 (駕車旅行/自駕遊從中國貴州省銅仁市江口縣梵淨山景區到遵義市).
Fanjingshan Mountain Scenic Area is located in Jiangkou, Tongren, Guizhou province. The Fanjingshan National Nature Reserve was established in 1978 and designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1986. Fanjingshan is a sacred mountain in Chinese Buddhism, considered to be the bodhimaṇḍa of the Maitreya Buddha. It became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2018. Tongren is a prefecture-level city in eastern Guizhou province, China, located within a tobacco planting and crop agricultural area.
Zunyi is a prefecture-level city in northern Guizhou province, China, situated between the provincial capital Guiyang to the south and Chongqing to the north, also bordering Sichuan to the northwest.
Guizhou is a landlocked province in the southwest of the People's Republic of China. Its capital and largest city is Guiyang, in the central part of the province. Guizhou borders the autonomous region of Guangxi to the south, Yunnan to the west, Sichuan to the northwest, the municipality of Chongqing to the north, and Hunan to the east.

Zhusha Ancient Town (Wanshan National Mine Park) is situated in Wanshan Town, Wanshan District, Tongren City, Guizhou Province. The main attractions in the park include the Mine Museum, the Theme Sculpture, the Underground Great Wall, the Xianren Cave, the Black Hole and the Yunnan Ladder. The plank road of Wanshan National Mine Park connects the attractions of the park. Standing on the plank road, tourists can also experience the excitement brought by the plank road along the cliff as they experience the industrial culture of the park. Wanshan District belongs to Tongren, a prefecture-level city in Guizhou Province, China. It is famous for the large deposits of mercury and cinnabar.
