Dhab Dhabi water falls is 150 kms from Gulbarga and is a best day out picnic spot around and is very popular amongst the young. People reading this must have gone there once at least, if not don’t miss it; this is the best time of the year.
Near Kandkoor there is a place ‘Chintanalli’ famous for the temple of lord ‘Gavi Siddeshwara’ where the lord resides in a cave with natural water flowing over the temple and falling at the entrance and thus making every devotee to have a shower before having lords blessings. There is also a barrage constructed on Bheema river which is some 4 km away from the city well connected by road.It is a place worth to watch specially when the gates are open for water flow.
Rainy season is one of the dullest seasons for tourism but there are some places one should only visit when it’s raining and such beautiful place is Dhab Dhabi Water Falls

Gulbarga Fort
Arguably the most popular tourist attraction at Gulbarga, this fort was built in the twelfth century by the Kakatiya king Raja Gulchand. Renovated by the Bahmani rulers two hundred years later, the Fort was expanded to strike a formidable barrier to invaders. The Mahakuta group of temples is located in Mahakuta, a village in the Bagalkot district of Karnataka state, India. It is an important place of worship for Hindus and the location of a well-known Shaiva monastery. The temples are dated to the 6th or 7th century CE and were constructed by the early kings of the Chalukya dynasty of Badami. The dating of the temples is based on the style of architecture which is similar to that of the temples in nearby Aihole and the information in two notable inscriptions in the complex: the Mahakuta Pillar inscription dated between 595–602 CE and an inscription of Vinapoti, a concubine of king Vijayaditya, dated between 696–733 CE and written in the Kannada language and script.
