I spent 3 weeks in the Czech Republic in search of the best places to visit. After featuring this awesome country in our Top 10 destinations for 2015 video, we needed to go and experience it for ourselves. The Czech Republic exceeded our expectations.
Prague was great, as expected, but there's so much to discover outside the big the city!. The national parks and natural reserves are incredibly beautiful.

Day Trip to Český Krumlov (The Most Beautiful Czech Town?)

Are you tired of large cities? Then join me on a trip to this beautiful little town in South Bohemia that still retains its picturesque medieval character.
We will walk the beautiful cobbled streets, opening into great viewpoints, take a walk around the Vltava river, enjoy the beauties of the Franciscan monastery and climb up to the second largest castle complex in the Czech Republic - the Český Krumlov castle.

On April 1st, It was a fabulous morning so I decided to enjoy a terrific weather and nature and hike across the mountain ridge of Hruby Jesenik. The starting point was in Ramzova and through Šerak, Keprnik, Vozka and Červenohorske Sedlo, I ended up in small town Běla pod Pradědem. During that, I experienced all kinds of conditions, and honestly, for some of them, I wasn't really prepared. :D

Ostrava, Czech Republic - TBEX Jeseniky Mountains PRE-BEX Tour and Opening Night Party
I finally made it to Ostrava. It was a long train ride, but I met up with Jon and Dave at the Prague train station. We got a snack once we arrived at the Ostrava station, then took the tram to our hotel right next to the TBEX conference center.
That night we walked around town a little, met up with some friends and hung out. The next morning was my first Pre-Bex tour of the Jeseniky Mountains with the Moravian-Silesian Region Tourism Board. We had a long drive to Mt. Praded, hiked for about an hour uphill, went up in the tower and saw the great views. Then rode the scooters all the way down, plus further down the road through traffic. It was pretty cool, they get going pretty fast, gotta keep on the brake or it gets a little scary.
Then we had a nice lunch, went to the Slezska Harta dam and I flew the drone a little bit. Some went for a short boat ride, Skye jumped in the water, then we drove back to Ostrava and got ready for the opening night party.
The party was right across the street from our hotel, so convenient. It was at an old factory, we got to go up Bolt Tower and see the views at night. Pretty cool, you take an elevator up, but have to walk down, which was a bit scary for Elena. That's the end of this video but there's much more Ostrava to come!

Poklady severní Moravy: Rešovské vodopády a hrad Sovinec - Nízký Jeseník
Vítám vás u dalšího videa! Tentokrát budeme putovat krásnou částí severní Moravy. Z Rýmařova přes Rešovské vodopády na hrad Sovinec.
Začínáme na náměstí Míru v Rýmařově, turistický rozcestník Rýmařov - nám. Odtud se vydáme po zelené TZ směr Skály. Po asi 4,5 km dorazíme do obce Skály, odkud stále po zelené TZ začneme klesat údolím Huntavy k Rešovským vodopádům (4,5 km). Zde se napojíme na červenou TZ a vydáme se směr Rešov. Projdeme Rešovem a postupně klesneme až do údolí řeky Oslavy (Valšovský důl - 6,5 km). Odtud jsou to pouze 2,5 km do cíle (červená TZ), na hrad Sovinec.
Délka trasy cca 17,5 km, převýšení 397 metrů.
