Ivanovo is a Russian city northeast of Moscow. Just north of the Uvod River, the Museum of Ivanovo Chintz exhibits traditional textiles. Nearby, the collection of the Museum of Industry and Art includes antique coins, weapons, and porcelain.
Across the river to the west, Ivanovo Zoo is home to lions and Alaskan tundra wolves. Restored USSR–era cars are displayed at the Museum of the Soviet Automobile Industry.

The small and cozy town of Plyos is considered one of the most picturesque places in Russia. Ples is located on the high bank of the Volga, among the hills of the north of the Ivanovo region.
The pacifying nature, ringing silence and quiet comfort of the Russian provinces have been attracting travelers and creative people for more than a hundred years. The combination of nature and provincial life was sung in his paintings by Isaac Levitan, who glorified Plyos all over the world. Levitan was followed by other artists and writers in Plyos, followed by wealthy Moscow summer residents and tourists.
Plyos is one of the four most visited small towns in Russia and the first place in terms of the number of tourists per local population in our country. Tourists come here to see firsthand those soul-crushing landscapes from paintings known since childhood. Самый красивый город Ивановской области (после Кинешмы). Это мой личный эптитет. А теперь поясняю эпитеты из Shorts:
👑Самый древний город области
За это звание борются два места: Юрьевец и Плёс. Говорят, что Плёс основан аж в 1141. Но это неточно и ваще не доказано. А
вот дата основания Юрьевца вполне конкретна: 1225 год
Вообще Плёс очень и очень переоценен, деревня выехала за счёт пиара Медведева и Левитана. Кинешма и Юрьевец намного красивее и исторически богаче. Поэтому переходим к следующему пункту
👑Город, победивший море
Юрьевец - наш Калязин со своим потопленным монастырём. Город стоит прямо на бескрайнем Горьковском водохранилище. Так вот, при возведении этого моря половину старого Юрьевца смыло в царство Посейдона. На этой половине не повезло оказаться и Кривоезерскому монастырю. Совсем недавно на месте затопления на отмели над водой возвышался крест - памятник затопленным церквям. Теперь после недавнего благоустройства города этот крест перенесли на набережную.
👑Юрьевец - один из наиболее экологически чистых районов центральной России, с наименьшим радиоактивным фоном. Так написано на портале Ивановской области
👑Юрьевец - город детства Тарковского. Если я хочу создать что-нибудь стоящее, я слушаю Баха и вспоминаю Симоновскую церковь”, - говорил он.
А ещё тут провёл детство ещё один советский режиссёр-сказочник - Александр Роу. В общем, юрьевецкая земля плодоносит киношниками.
