New York State Route 9N is a north-south state highway that runs across northeastern New York. It runs from the city of Saratoga Springs' intersection with US Route 9, NY 29, and NY 50 to the Clinton County hamlet of Keeseville's junction with US 9 and NY 22. NY 9N is the state's longest letter-suffixed route, with a total length of 143.49 miles. It runs for one mile in the village of Lake George and three blocks in the hamlet of Elizabethtown beside its parent route.

Auger Falls - Wells, NY May 6, 2011
This 40 foot falls is at the beginning of a series of drops, plunges and cascades totaling over 100 feet though this narrow gorge lined with Hemlocks on the Sacandaga River. Many potholes can be seen along the edge of the gorge when the water level is low. It's only a 10 minute walk in from Route 30 to see the falls.
