Dallas Festival of Yoruba Culture
Saturday October 15 and Sunday, October 16, 2022, in Dallas, Texas is set for for YorubaFest, a celebration of Yoruba culture of dance, drama, foods, lifestyle in Dallas, Texas.
The Mayor of Dallas will launch the activities to include exhibition of the food, dance, poetry and drama along with original paintings that chronicle more than 1000 years history of the Yoruba people originally from South-western Nigeria in West Africa.
The YorubaFest is organized by our non-profit organization, Yoruba Cultural Center Dallas Inc, under the royal patronage of the Grand Custodian of The Yoruba cultural heritage, His Royal Majesty Oonirisa Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II, The Ooni of Ife to highlight and promote the arts, music and culture of the great Yoruba people who have made a name for themselves in all corners of the globe, including the United States of America.
