Inđija (Serbian Cyrillic: Инђија, pronounced [ǐndʑija]) is a town and a municipality located in the Srem District of the autonomous province of Vojvodina, Serbia. As of 2011, the town has total population of 26,025, while the municipality has 47,433 inhabitants. It is located in the geographical region of Syrmia.

Continuing on previous movie and that hard climb to Fruška Gora, it's time to enjoy some well-earned descents! Actually, just one, but that one is fantastic! You do need to be very careful and very focused as the road is ridiculously bad, but the descent and the feel of going through the forest is just incredible.
But once you exit the forest, you'll introduced to some of the best views in Vojvodina province! This is just the place to be. Even with some minor hick-ups like minefields. ;)
And then, there's another huge contrast waiting for you - the open road to Inđija, offering that famous Vojvodina feel, with just fields and crops pretty much as far and wide as you can see. And a very good road to use (connecting Novi Sad and Belgrade, actually, an alternative to the highway).
It's not long until you reach the almost hidden city/town of Inđija, known by many things, but in all honesty it was the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert that has put it on the map. :) Still, once you get there, you'll realize there is far, far more to this place! Sadly, there was only enough time to film the immensely popular swimming pool, the main streets and the pedestrian zone, but even that is enough to make you wish to come back. And keep coming back. It also doesn't hurt that Inđija is pretty much half way between Belgrade (the capital of Serbia) and Novi Sad (the capital of Vojvodina province).
Special greeting goes to people providing authentic feel for tourists, through both food and accommodation. I used to be a man of standards myself, opting for what was familiar to me, sort of not taking any risks. But what's the point of going to, say, Fruška Gora and looking for a glass and concrete monstrosity of a hotel? Would you want it in the Alps? And really, what's the point of leaving home if all you do is keep looking for your home in other places? I prefer feeling the real local energy and tradition. I may not like local food or customs, but I do want to try them. You know, when in Rome, do as Romans do. So not really a new concept. :)
