Some of the best things to do in Ocean City, New Jersey, including walking along the Ocean City Boardwalk, visiting Shriver’s Salt Water Taffy and Fudge, spending the day at Playland’s Castaway Cove, and shopping for souvenirs along Asbury Avenue. The Ocean City Boardwalk is nearly three miles long and features numerous attractions along its length, including a haunted miniature-golf course!
Shriver’s Salt Water Taffy and Fudge is the oldest business in Ocean City, having been opened up in 1898. The candy store is still as popular as ever, and it sells nearly 50 different varieties of salt-water taffy! Playland’s Castaway Cove is an amusement park located along the aforementioned Ocean City Boardwalk, and it provides plenty of carnival-esque thrills for visiting tourists.

The Blue Hole: Caribbean blue water in New Jersey!
I know we hate on New Jersey a lot but the Blue Hole is a pretty mind blowing place to check out! When most people think of NJ, they see cities, traffic, tall buildings, etc. but the Blue Hole is about as far from that as it gets! This middle of nowhere gem is a cool place to check out. The water looks like it belongs in the Caribbean and it almost seems too beautiful to be here! We mentioned it in the video but will repeat it one more time... do not swim here! It is very dangerous and many people have died here and at other blue hole locations. That being said, this is an amazing place to visit, enjoy the views, and wade in the shallow water. We went away from New York for two days to visit two different states in America. In this episode we show you the differences in urbanism, style, culture, history and the way of life that exist between New Jersey, Philadelphia and New York.
In New Jersey we visit the two main cities, Ocean City and Atlantic City, where it really feels like living in one of those old-fashioned American movies due to the presence of traditional diners and wide
expanses of green in which the classic American white houses made of wood alternate.
In Philadelphia, on the other hand, we show you the cultural imprint of the city due to the historical events that occurred in it in the past that wrote important pages of American Independence history.
For lovers of the famous movie Rocky Balboa, on the other hand, we show you the very famous staircase from the movie and the statue of Rocky played by actor Sylvester Stallone. Of course, in the video there is no lack of special and tasty culinary delicacies typical of the specific place.
We really enjoyed this American experience and hope that with this third episode of the series we managed to entertain you and discover aspects of America that you did not know.
