Great Yarmouth (/ˈjɑːrməθ/), often called Yarmouth, is a seaside town and unparished area in, and the main administrative centre of, the Borough of Great Yarmouth in Norfolk, England; it straddles the River Yare and is located 20 miles (30 km) east of Norwich.[2] A population of 38,693 in the 2011 Census made it Norfolk's third most populous.[1] Its fishing industry, mainly for herring, shrank after the mid-20th century and has all but ended.[3] North Sea oil from the 1960s supplied an oil-rig industry that services offshore natural gas rigs; more recently, offshore wind power and other renewable energy industries have ensued.
Yarmouth has been a resort since 1760 and a gateway from the Norfolk Broads to the North Sea. Holiday-making rose when a railway opened in 1844, bringing easier, cheaper access and some new settlement. Wellington Pier opened in 1854 and Britannia Pier in 1858. Through the 20th century, Yarmouth boomed as a resort, with a promenade, pubs, trams, fish-and-chip shops, theatres, the Pleasure Beach, the Sea Life Centre, the Hippodrome Circus, the Time and Tide Museum and a Victorian seaside Winter Garden in cast iron and glass.

During the winter months, Britain is on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), which is 5 hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time and 10 hours behind Sydney. Western standard time is five hours behind.
From late March until late October, the clocks go forward one hour to British Summer Time (BST).

We check out the beach, the famous market where you get the best fish and chips, the main town where loads of shops restaurants bars and arcade and loads more!
We are grateful to be invited from the pleasure beach amusement park to record videos for social content on our channel Ride comparisons for our first time experiencing there halloween event FAIRGROUND FRIGHT NIGHTS the overall experience with the Halloween event was brilliant one of the best scary halloween events we have every experience in the UK!
We have done a full review on our hotel stay called St george hotel in Albert square located 10 minutes away from the pleasure beach it was a great location where shops food stands was walking distance!
You should definitely take a visit to Great Yarmouth if your taking a visit to Norfolk you would never get bored there is something for everyone in this beautiful area and many more things to do!
Our overall stay at St george hotel was pretty good stay the building is bit out dated but it didn't worry us at all the bed was comfy the water pressure was good the hotel was clean and it was a bargain £46 for one night for 3 adults I would highly recommend if your visiting Great Yarmouth!
