Best Places to Visit in Ontario: High Falls Muskoka 4K

Known as The Niagara of the North (disputable) this is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Northern Ontario. Located only 2 hours away from Toronto this will amaze you with its size and its strength.

There is a power station above the falls, and water is diverted from the river, but the falls are still an impressive site. There was talk of expanding the power station at the expense of the falls.

High Falls is much steeper than most of the cascades found in this region. The falls is divided into two segments. The river would have to be awfully high for the segments to combine.

We visit this wonder during our Muskoka adventure.

We offer adventures all year, with different seasonal destinations. You don't have to be an avid hiker to join our adventures... we take it easy so you can enjoy your surroundings as much as possible! That being said, we also offer more challenging adventures and longer hikes for those who are looking for a challenge.

Our trips are designed for small groups (6 people maximum) and are ideal for solo travellers.
