Places to Visit in Golaghat | Bihu Husori & Best Friend's Assamese Wedding | অসমীয়া বিয়া | Part 1
From Guwahati we started our 300 kms journey towards Dergaon, Golaghat for our friend's (Kriti & Kapil) assamese wedding ceremony. Upon reaching Kaziranga we stopped at our favorite John's Kitchen for lunch. We reached the wedding venue (Dergaon) at around 3 pm & participated in the Juroon & pre wedding celebrations. There in the evening, we enjoyed the Bihu Husori (group dance) performed by a local group. At night we stayed at the nearby Police Training College's Guest House. The guest house was beautiful, it was a pleasant stay there, the service & hospitality was also up to the mark.
Next day, after having our morning breakfast we left the guest house for local sightseeing. We visited Negheriting Shiva Doul & Deoparbat Ruins (Archaeological Site) near Numaligarh.
In the next video (part 2), we will be visiting the majestic Kakochang Waterfalls of Karbi Anglong (near Kaziranga) and after that we would return to Dergaon to attend the Grand Wedding.
