Bela Bela A town in Limpopo South Africa known for its hot spring that gushes to the surface at 53°C
Bela-Bela (Tswana/Pedi for the pot that boils) is a town in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. Deriving its name from the geothermic hot springs around which the town was built, it was called Warmbaths, until 2002.
The town is situated in the Waterberg District of the Limpopo Province. It lies off the N1 road between Pretoria and Polokwane (Pietersburg). Its hot springs produce 22,000 litres per hour at 52 °C (126 °F)

HIDDEN MINING TOWN REVEALED IN LIMPOPO 🇿🇦South Africa
Burgersfort is located in the valley of the Spekboom River[2] at the edge of the Bushveld Complex in the Fetakgomo Tubatse Local Municipality, near the border of the two provinces Limpopo and Mpumalanga. The town was named after a hexagonal fort built there during the 1876-77 Second War against the Bapedi of Chief Sekhukhune, and was named after President TF Burgers of the ZAR. The town serves as a meeting point for two major roads, the R37 and R555. The region is rich in platinum and platinum group metals.[3] The town's neighbouring towns are Mashishing (60 km), Steelpoort (16 km) and Ohrigstad (26 km).

Thomo Heritage Park
The Thomo Heritage Park brings to life the iron smelting and other ancient traditions of the Tsonga People dating back for many hundreds of years. The Park is a must see attraction on Open Africa's Rixile Culture to Kruger Route.
The route has recently been adopted by money exchange group, Western Union, and has been injected with new impetus.
The site is easily accessible in the countryside, just eight kilometres outside the modern African lowveld town of Giyani, bordering on the Kruger National Park. The vicinity is littered with ancient iron age mining activities and smelters, some dating back to 550 AD.

Pottery Project on the Rixile Culture to Kruger Route
A small workshop in the rural area of Giyani, not far from the border of South Africa's Kruger National Park, is the humble venue at which Tsonga potters practice their traditional craft.This is one of the projects on Open Africa's Rixile Culture to Kruger Route.
Western Union, a money transfer organization, is supporting efforts to market emerging enterprises on the route. The potters learnt the skill from their grandmothers, and even today it remains their only source of income.
The work is imbued with good spirit as video producer Charl Pauw found out when they visited the project.

Makuya Game Reserve - Solo Trip - Episode 1
Welcome to Experience Wild Africa, on a SOLO trip to Makuya Game Reserve in the Limpopo province of South Africa.
I spent 3 nights in Makuya and explored all along the Luvuvhu river.
This is WILD camping in a big 5 area, and in the past we have found Lion, Leopard, Elephant in camp!
As my wife and her friend did a 4 day hike in the Kruger National Park, this was a perfect excuse for me to enjoy Makuya again - this time Solo!
