Busan is a port city therefore it boast some incredible seaside views and also one of the best things we recommend is trying their local seafood or fishcake. There are hotels to accommodate everyone with different budget range there should you want to stay the night like we did. We recommend staying near Seomyeon area.
Busan is only 3 hours away from Seoul making it such a perfect day trip option, however as mentioned on the video it can be challenging as they have west and east side. 01. Gwangalli Beach
A beach inside a cove spanned by the Gwangan Bridge and covers 82,000 square meters over a length of 1.4 km and a width of 25 to 110 metres, in a curved in a half-moon shape with fine sand.
02. Haedong Yonggungsa
A Buddhist temple in Gijang-gun. Was built in 1376 by the teacher known as Naong during the Goryeo Dynasty. The temple complex is a large one and one of few in Korea to be set on the seaside.
03. Taejongdae
A natural park with magnificent cliffs facing the open sea on the southernmost tip of island of Yeongdo-gu. Has dense evergreen trees and several facilities for tourists such as an observatory, an amusement park, a light house, a cruise ship terminal.
04. Sea Life Busan Aquarium
An aquarium located in Haeundae Beach. There are about 250 species and up to 35,000 marine animals on display. 40 exhibits, which include penguins, otters, piranha, sea jellies and a touch tank for a close up hands on look at a variety of sea creatures.
05. Busan Tower
A 118-metre-high tower at Yongdusan Park. Was built in 1973. It's only used for entertainment purposes and doesn't have any transmitting equipment. The deck features panoramic view and a small cafe, it's only accessible during working hours via two high-speed elevators.
06. Chungnyeolsa
A sacred shrine, where the spirits of those who fought against the Japanese troops during the Japanese invasions of Korea of 1592, are enshrined. Was first built in 1605. A sacrificial rite is performed on May 25 annually.
07. Busan Lotte Town Tower
A 108-floor, 510.1 m (1,674 ft) supertall skyscraper under construction. The tower is planned on a site next to Nampo-dong station on Busan Subway Line 1 and completion is expected in December 2019.
08. Gukje Market
A market in Sinchang-dong, Jung District.
09. Yongdusan Park
A park located in Jung-gu. Yongdu means “dragon’s head” and “san” means “mountain”. The name is an allusion to the similarity of the mountain park, which is said to resemble a dragon’s head.
10. Beomeosa
Temple of the Nirvana Fish. A head temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism. Built on the slopes of Geumjeongsan, it is one of the country's most known urban temples.

Haedong Yonggung Temple - South Korea’s Most Beautiful Temple - 2023
Haedong Yonggunsa, or Haedong Yonggung Temple, is one of the most impressive Buddhist temples in South Korea.
Haedong Yonggungsa is famous for its picturesque seaside location. Busan’s “Temple on the Coast” is also a hot spot for watching the sunrise on the first day of the year.
The temple has a long history going all the way back to 1376, during the Goryeo Dynasty, when it was built by the great Buddhist teacher Naong Hyegeun.
It was originally called Bomun Temple and was dedicated to Gwanseum-bosal, the Goddess of Compassion, whose large statue you can see there today.
Bomun temple was partially destroyed in a fire during the Japanese invasion of Korea from 1592 to 1598, and then abandoned. Some of what can be seen today dates to the 1930s, when the temple was reestablished by monks from Tongdosa, and a lot of it has been added in the last 20 years and looks very new.
It wasn’t until 1974 that Bomun Temple was renamed Haedong Yonggungsa, which means “Korean Dragon Palace Temple.” The name comes from a vision experienced by Jeong-am, the head monk at the time, of the Goddess of Mercy riding a dragon, during meditation.
Haedong Yonggungsa is in Gijang-gun (Gijang county) on the northeast coast of Busan city, six kilometers northeast of Haeundae, the city’s most famous beach.
The temple really looks like a post card and is popular with people coming here just for photos. It’s not over large so you can see the whole place in an hour or two. There are also many shops selling snacks and souvenirs as you come in.
