Entzheim is a commune, in the Bas-Rhin department in Grand Est in north-eastern France. Strasbourg Airport is located in the commune. The village of Entzheim is a small french village located north east of France. The town of Entzheim is located in the department of Bas-Rhin of the french region Alsace. The town of Entzheim is located in the township of Geispolsheim part of the district of Strasbourg-Campagne. The area code for Entzheim is 67124 (also known as code INSEE), and the Entzheim zip code is 67960.
The altitude of the city hall of Entzheim is approximately 150 meters. The Entzheim surface is 8.17 km ². The latitude and longitude of Entzheim are 48.531 degrees North and 7.634 degrees East. Nearby cities and towns of Entzheim are : Geispolsheim (67400) at 2.13 km, Duppigheim (67120) at 3.02 km, Holtzheim (67810) at 3.02 km, Blaesheim (67113) at 3.29 km, Hangenbieten (67980) at 3.36 km, Lingolsheim (67380) at 4.35 km, Kolbsheim (67120) at 4.65 km, Duttlenheim (67120) at 4.92 km.
The population of Entzheim was 1 844 in 1999, 1 827 in 2006 and 1 796 in 2007. The population density of Entzheim is 219.83 inhabitants per km². The number of housing of Entzheim was 655 in 2007. Places to see in ( Strasbourg - France ) La Wantzenau
La Wantzenau (German: Wanzenau) is a commune in the Bas-Rhin department in Grand Est in north-eastern France. The town is located 12 km northeast of Strasbourg. It is the last village along the Ill river before it joins the Rhine a few kilometres downstream. The village limits touch the border with Germany, although the closest bridge across the Rhine is in Gambsheim, 10 km north of the village. It is one of the villages of greater Strasbourg (Strasbourg Eurométropole). The village centre and the recently developed area, Le Golf, are on the north side of the river Ill with the neighbourhood of Le Woerthel on the south side.
The terrain around the village is very flat and marshy. In fact the ending au in the name denotes in Alsatian a town which is subject to seasonal flooding. The town was probably founded in the 8th century as a fishing outpost of Honau, a nearby monastery founded by Irish monks on an island in the Rhine river. The name does not appear in any records until 1331 as Wanzenowe. It was granted status as a parish by the bishop-prince of Strasbourg in 1468. During the Thirty Years' War, in the early 17th century, the town was completely wiped out by Swedish troops. It was also badly damaged during both World Wars. There are many signs of the town's experience with war. Rue Albert Zimmer is named for a soldier who became a local hero fighting with General Leclerc in World War II, only to be killed in fighting near Strasbourg in 1944. The town is dotted with bunkers and blockhouses from the Maginot Line, especially in the La Wantzenau forest. There is also a German-made bunker visible in the house on the corner of the rue Leh and the rue du Moulin.
Today, the town has preserved many 18th century half-timbered Alsatian-style houses. The town has graded a promenade along the Ill river. It is connected to a network of bicycle lanes including the Piste des Forts which circles greater Strasbourg, and a path through the La Wantzenau forest through La Robertsau and into downtown Strasbourg. La Wantzenau is well known in the region for the high number of fine restaurants including Le Relais de la Poste, Les Semailles and Le Moulin de la Wantzenau, the last vestiges of a now closed cooking school in the town. The town is twinned with Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche in Haute-Vienne because the population of La Wantzenau was evacuated there at the start of the war with Germany in 1939.
La Wantzenau is a bedroom community of Strasbourg. It combines the advantages of village life with individual houses while still being part of the CUS with train and bus transportation to the centre of Strasbourg. 73% of the working population works outside of the village.
The centre of the town has several commercial establishments including a grocery store, two bakeries and two tobacconists. There are also several public buildings including a post office, the town hall, the Foyer Culturel, the Jean-Claude Klein sports complex, a football stadium, two pre-schools, a primary school, and a junior highschool.

Places to see in ( Strasbourg - France ) Fegersheim
Fegersheim is a commune in the Bas-Rhin department in Grand Est in north-eastern France. Fegersheim is located 12 kilometres (7 mi) to the south of Strasbourg, between the Rivers Andlau, Scheer and Ill. Between 1962 and 1999 the registered population increased from 2153 to 4533, reflecting economic growth in the Strasbourg area.
The discovery of tombs from the third century BC indicates that the site was occupied during the Celtic period. The little town acquired its urban status in the eleventh century. At that time the Benedictine monastery of nearby Eschau owned a substantial property in Fegersheim. In the following centuries until 1789 Fegersheim and its conjoined settlement of Ohnheim would be held as an episcopal fiefdom, successively, by Ochsenstein, Hanau-Lichtenberg and Rathsamhausen.
Fegersheim enjoyed a few days of prominence in 1680 when the court of Louis XIV, accompanied by Bishop Bossuet (tutor to the Dauphin) and the king's mistress stayed here while awaiting the arrival of the Grand Dauphins's new bride. Five days of public celebrations ensued.
For centuries Fegersheim survived on a traditional agrarian economy, but industry appeared in 1933 in the form of the Cajofé toy factory. In 1962 the local council designated one of France's first formal industrial zones here in order to encourage the provision of local employment. The industrial zone benefits from excellent road connections and the proximity of Strasbourg: its story has been one of successful development, already for nearly half a century.

Geispolsheim is a commune in the Bas-Rhin department in Grand Est in north-eastern France. Geispolsheim is positioned 12 kilometres (7 mi) to the south of Strasbourg. The construction of a railway between Strasbourg and Mulhouse involved the building in 1841 of a station approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) to the east of the little town: this was followed by the development around the new station of a separate little conurbation, albeit one that always remained a part of the commune of Geispolsheim.
The newer settlement was known as 'Geispolsheim-Gare' (Geispolsheim-Station), and retains the name even though the station itself was demolished in 1992, while the original settlement is still unofficially referred to as 'Geispolsheim-Village'. The two parts of the little town are linked by the departmental road RD84.
Today included in the Strasbourg Eurométropole, Geispolsheim is well positioned for future expansion: it already offers significant local employment and commercial opportunities in its industrial and artisanal zones.
