Ga Central Municipal District is one of the twenty-nine districts in Greater Accra Region, Ghana.Originally it was formerly part of the then-larger Ga South Municipal District on 29 February 2008, until a small portion of the district was split off to create Ga Central Municipal District on 28 June 2012; thus the remaining part has been retained as Ga South Municipal District (currently known as Weija-Gbawe Municipal District). The municipality is located in the western part of Greater Accra Region and has Sowutuom as its capital town.

Oxford street is probably the most famous street in Accra and it cuts straight through Osu, the neighborhood which has a big expat community. We set out on a late afternoon to walk the entire stretch of Oxford Street from North to South.
READ ALL ABOUT IT:
You'll see many shops, some souvenir stands and most of the mobile phone companies have a shop here. There're also some restaurants and bars. We especially like the Flip Bar which is located more towards the South End. We ended our walk there, while sitting on their big terrace, having a beer.
