Gili Trawangan. The name of this place is quite well known among foreign and local tourists. Often, tourists who come to Bali also visit this place. This tourist spot is indeed quite easy to reach from Bali.
Administratively, the location of the island (Gili Trawangan) is included in the village area of Gili Indah, ke. Winner, district North Lombok. Apart from that, from this island we can easily reach Gili Air and Gili Meno, which are located close together. Don't worry about the facilities. Now the facilities on Gili Trawangan are complete.
There are several ways to get to this island:
Using a Fast Boat or Speed Boat from Bali
The quickest and most convenient option is to take a fast boat or speed boat from Bali.We can take this type of boat from Padang Bai, Tanjung Benoa, Serangan Island, or Sanur in Bali. via the Bangsal Harbor or Teluk Nara in Lombok. With this route, we will go to Lombok first by air and land at Lombok International Airport. From the airport, we will go to the port of Ward or Teluk Nara and cross over to Gili Trawangan.
Bangsal Harbor is a public port. Here, we can take a wooden boat or speed boat. The crossing at Teluk Nara is specifically for speedboat charters.
Transportation options from the airport to Bangsal Harbor:
a. Travel services There are several travel services, both shared and private, that provide transportation services from the airport to the port of Ward.
b. airport taxi. Taxis here use a meter with a fare of approximately 400–450 thousand to the port of Ward. This taxi stops at the terminal. From the terminal, the distance to the port is about 200 meters. We can use a cidomo (a kind of buggy or delman).
c. Another alternative is to take a DAMRI first to Mataram, and then from Mataram, take a taxi to the port of Ward. We can also rent motorcycles in Mataram and park (stay) at Ward's port.
Transportation from Bangsal Harbor to Gili Trawangan:
a. A wooden ship Travel time is approximately 45 minutes, and you usually have to wait for the full ship first.
b. Speed boat from Lombok to Gili Trawangan The travel time is about 10 minutes.
Activities and Favorite Places on Gili Trawangan
Usually, one thing that comes to mind when traveling is, What are your favorite places on location, and what activities can you do? In this place, there are many things we can do and enjoy. Here are some activities and places that must be visited on Gili Trawangan, so that your vacation is more satisfying.
Gili Trawangan Beach, Lombok, has white sand and clear sea water as a backdrop. The beach is an attraction in and of itself.In addition, on this island, we can easily enjoy the sunset and sunrise. If you have a diving license, you can join directly at one of the many dive centers here. However, if you are still a beginner and want to try diving, there is a 2-hour training available. Ratu Boko (Javanese: Ratu Baka) or Ratu Boko Palace is an archaeological site in Java. Ratu Boko is located on a plateau, about three kilometres south of Lara Jonggrang Prambanan temple complex in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The original name of this site is still unclear, however the local inhabitants named this site after King Boko, the legendary king mentioned in Loro Jonggrang folklore.[1] In Javanese, Ratu Baka means Stork King.
The site covers 16 hectares in two hamlets (Dawung and Sambireja) of the village of Bokoharjo and Prambanan, Sleman Regency. In striking contrast to other Classic-period sites in Central Java and Yogyakarta, which are remains of temples, Ratu Boko displays attributes of an occupation or settlement site, although its precise function is unknown.[2] Probably the site was a palace complex which belonged to the kings of Sailendra or Mataram Kingdom that also built temples scattered across the Prambanan Plain. The argument was based on the fact that this complex was not a temple nor building with religious nature, but a fortified palace instead which evidence of a remnant of fortified walls and the dry moat of defensive structures.[3] The remains of settlements also founds in Ratu Boko vicinity. This site is located 196 m above the sea level, on the highest point in the site, there is a small pavilion from which one will be able to see a panoramic view of Prambanan temple with Mount Merapi as the background.

Lombok Waterfall || Tiu Sekeper
Air Terjun Tiu Sekeper merupakan air terjun tertinggi di Lombok. Lokasi air terjun ini terletak di Desa Santong, Kecamatan Kayangan, Kabupaten Lombok Utara, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat.
Jarak dari pusat kota Mataram ke Air Terjun Tiu Sekeper kurang lebih sekitar 61,1 km atau waktu tempuh 1 jam 48 menit jika menggunakan kendaraan roda empat. Air terjun ini, Tepatnya berada di Bukit Sekeper atau sebelah barat laut Gunung Rinjani. Lokasi air terjun ini di dalam hutan yang masih sangat alami, bahkan bisa dikatakan tersembunyi.
Air terjun Tiu Sekeper merupakan air terjun tertinggi di Lombok dan salah satu dari 10 air terjun tertinggi di Indonesia. Nama Tiu Sekeper terdiri dari dua kata yang memiliki makna, “Sekeper” diambil dari nama bukit tempat air terjun ini berada, Bukit Sekeper. “Tiu” sendiri dalam bahasa sasak bisa diartikan kolam atau bendungan. Karena lokasi air terjun ini di dalam hutan tersembunyi sehingga pesona keindahan alamnya masih terjaga dengan baik. Pepohonan yang menjulang tinggi, rindang, dan masih hijau asri membuat mata tidak bosan untuk melihatnya. Wisatawan yang berkunjung ke tempat ini tidak terlalu banyak sehingga Anda bisa dengan bebas mandi, bermain air, menikmati keindahan alam dengan hening, atau bisa juga mengabadikan momen melalui foto.
Waktu dan Tiket Masuk Tiu Sekeper
Waktu terbaik untuk mengunjungi air terjun ini yakni pukul 07.00 s/d 16.00 agar pulang tidak terlalu kemalaman. Mengenai tiket tidak dikenakan biaya masuk ke spot wisata ini. Wisatawan hanya dikenakan biaya parkir kendaraan dan biaya pemandu wisata yang dibayar seikhlasnya.
Akses Menuju Tiu Sekeper
Akses menuju ke spot wisata alam yang satu ini memang agak sulit jika menggunakan alat transportasi umum. Kami menyarankan untuk menggunakan alat transportasi pribadi atau jasa sewa mobil yang ada di Lombok. Waktu tempuh dari Kota Mataram ke Desa Santong sekitar 1 jam 48 menit atau bahkan 2 jam. Dari Desa Santong Santong jalan kaki sejauh kurang lebih 4 jam untuk mengunjungi Air Terjun di Lombok ini.
Tips Mengunjungi Tiu Sekeper
Beberapa tips yang perlu Anda ketahui sebelum mengunjungi salah satu air terjun di Lombok ini untuk Anda persiapkan, adalah :

Waktu yang dibutuhkan selama kurang lebih 4 Jam perjalanan di tengah hutan, dengan trek yang turun naik, pastikan Anda cukup membawa Bekal seperti makanan, snack, dan air minum.
Gunakan Baju dan Celana panjang, ini jadi pertimbangan karena akan melewati jalan setapak selebar satu kaki dan bergesekan dengan rumput dan ranting pohon.
Ada banyak jenis tanaman hutan yang jika tersentuh kulit bisa mengakibatkan rasa gatal yang cukup merepotkan. Gunakan sandal gunung, atau sepatu, karna di beberapa trek ada tanah becek berlumpur.

Agar lebih aman dan nyaman, sebaiknya perlu ditemani oleh pemandu wisata. Sebab perjalanan menuju lokasi terpencil dan jarang wisatawan bisa memahami lokasi hanya dengan sekedar melihat maps. Jadi, dengan pemandu wisata yang notabene merupakan warga lokal, Anda dapat lebih aman.
