In today’s video I’m taking a look at the most beautiful towns in Colorado and the prettiest places to visit. The vast Rocky Mountains draw in visitors looking for a laidback vacation with amazing culture and attractions.
Enjoy a jam-packed day in one of the national parks or ski at one of the largest resorts in the country. Whatever you choose you won’t be disappointed as each of these towns offers stunning views and one-of-a-kind scenery.
Some of the towns on this list are lesser known and include some hidden gems. As a local, I go off the tourist path to find some unique and scenic towns to visit and with little tourist crowds.
From skiing and snowboarding in the winter to hiking, and camping in the summer, outdoor activities are a way of life in Colorado. The Centennial State is an ideal travel destination and one of the best places to visit for outdoor pursuits in every season.

On June 25, 2011 Barbados joined an elite group of nations with world heritage properties when Historic Bridgetown and its Garrison was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. This inscription is a tremendous feat for a small Caribbean island states. It presented the opportunity to address the obvious geographical imbalance in sites from Latin American and the Caribbean. UNESCO’s commitment to the identification, protection and preservation of the world’s cultural and natural heritage is enshrined in the Convention concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage (1972).

NYC Beach Modules - Garrison Architects
Hurricane Sandy destroyed many buildings in 2012. When the city of New York rebuilt their beach structures, they needed them replaced in 5 months and built to withstand future storms. Garrison Architects designed 37 of these in 15 locations including Coney Island and Rockaway Beach. They were prefabricated in a factory on on a common framework that is mounted on concrete legs and accessed by aluminum stairs and ramps so they could be located above the 500 year flood level. These are a model for similar structures in vulnerable locations. If you are in Coney Island visit the Oceanview Cafe in Brighton Beach for authentic Russian cuisine or if you visit these in Rockaway Beach, try Bernadette’s for breakfast or lunch. Relax and enjoy your visit to the beach.

The Garrison Church is a heritage-listed active Anglican church building located at Argyle Street in the City of Sydney in New South Wales, Australia. The Garrison Church was built from 1840 to 1846 by Edward Flood and George Patton. The Garrison Church is also known as Holy Trinity Anglican Church and Hall. The property is owned by Anglican Church Property Trust and was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.
Sydney, capital of New South Wales and one of Australia's largest cities, is best known for its harbourfront Sydney Opera House, with a distinctive sail-like design. Massive Darling Harbour and the smaller Circular Quay port are hubs of waterside life, with the arched Harbour Bridge and esteemed Royal Botanic Garden nearby. Continuing our quest to visit every place where a fire tower stands, stood or was proposed in NH, we visited our 40th today...Garrison Hill in Dover NH. It is just an observation tower and was considered to be used as a fire tower, but never was. It still counts though as it was proposed. The tower standing there is the 3rd tower to be built in that spot. The list is now official and you can earn a certificate and a patch for completing all 93.
