In today’s video I’m taking a look at the most beautiful towns in Colorado and the prettiest places to visit. The vast Rocky Mountains draw in visitors looking for a laidback vacation with amazing culture and attractions.
Enjoy a jam-packed day in one of the national parks or ski at one of the largest resorts in the country. Whatever you choose you won’t be disappointed as each of these towns offers stunning views and one-of-a-kind scenery.
Some of the towns on this list are lesser known and include some hidden gems. As a local, I go off the tourist path to find some unique and scenic towns to visit and with little tourist crowds.

And while pinpointing all of Mother Nature's greatest hits could take a lifetime, we think these out-of-this-world landscapes and awe-inspiring wonders, from Arizona to Antarctica, need to move to the very top of your travel list.
Salt River Canyon Exploring. Gleason Flat river access point.
We took a trip to Gleason Flat river access point to scout the road for future rafting trips. You could drive a prius for almost the whole road, but the last mile was very trecherous. I decided to walk the rest of the road to avoid being stranded. This is a very beautiful place. I can not say for sure if there are any fish though. I don't think i spent enough time fishing to tell for sure. I have heard the whole Salt River Canyon has great catfishing.

Kayaking - Flat River - Michigan - Six Lakes to Hillis Road
*Warning* This was not a leisurely float!! This section of river was not maintained and had a large number of blockages the entire time. We started at the headwaters of the Flat River at six lakes. We ended at Hillis Road. The river was very low and averaged just a couple of inches deep. We managed to make it just over ten miles and took us a full 8 hours! Enjoy the video, and may I recommend skipping this section of river if your looking to put some miles in on the Flat!!
