On the 17th March, 2021 we went home for our great grandma's burial ceremony ( Olori Abosede Adebayo ). she died at age 105 may her gentle soul rest in peace.

I don't know anything about our culture and I am here to see my root for the first time.

For non Nigerians, NYSC stands for National youth service corps which is an obligatory one year service to the Nation for each Nigerian who could only be exempted on only very reasonable circumstances.

What Really Goes on Inside the Famous Osun Grove & Shrine? | Osun Osogbo Festival, Nike Art Workshop

Osun Grove is a sacred grove and shrine along the banks of the Osun river just outside the city of Osogbo. It is one of the 6 UNESCO world heritage sites in Nigeria.

The grove is one of the vast undisturbed areas of land in Africa. Fishing, farming and hunting are forbidden on 75 hectares of sacred land. This is where the annual Osun-Oshogbo festival takes place. The festival attracts over 100,000 people both local and foreign annually.
