New Mexico's parks are less crowded many other western parks but still have stunning scenery. On this trip we drive from South to North. Starting by exploring 3 of the least visited National Parks in the country- White Sands, Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mts..
In Alamogordo we visit New Mexico's Space History Museum and see rockets tested at the nearby missile range.
We go to one of my favorite places- 3 Rivers Petroglyphs site to hike among 20,000 ancient rock carvings and meet a blind lady in her 70 who enjoys hiking!
On the road north we go to the UFO museum in Roswell. And then walk on a Lava Field at the Valley of Fires BLM camping area, before visiting the Trinity Site.
In Albuquerque we visit the 4 sites of Petroglyph Monument including a volcano field! While looking at a map I saw a marker for Coronado State Park, so we make an unscheduled stop to see the remains an old adobe village on the Rio Grande where Spanish Conquistador Coronado once stayed- until the battle.
We make a quick stop at a stone church built in 1621. On our way to Super Volcano- or at least its remains-- Valles Caldera.
The highlight of the northern part of the trip is the cliff dwellings at Bandelier National Monument. We visit the cliff houses and see the nearby stone village.
We make a quick stop in Santa Fe and another in Taos before flying over the spectacular Rio Grande Gorge Bridge before our final stop on top of a cinder cone volcano and Capulin Volcano National Monument.

RVING DEMING NEW MEXICO | Hidden Valley Ranch Rv Resort
We begin our new adventure Rving Deming, New Mexico. We stayed at Hidden Valley Ranch RV Resort, an actual working cattle ranch. We enjoyed our visit so much that we extended our stay there to explore many hiking trails, and the City of Rocks State Park. We discovered our flow was moving to fast, and we needed to slow down to enjoy this amazing experience. Life is precious, and so is Time...so live it, love it, enjoy it!
We are Travis and Traci LeBlanc, a Louisiana couple with a dream of full time travel. In 2018, we sold our house and everything in it to begin our adventure! So far, our journey has been the best decision we ever made. We hope you enjoy, and ask that you subscribe to our channel so you will be notified when new content is posted.

The Triangles Near Deming, New Mexico - An Intersection of Two Universes
Just southeast of Deming, NM and Interstate 10, in a remote part of the desert, is a monument called the Triangles. Unlike most monuments you run across traveling the country, this doesn't honor a historical event or person, but instead an event that is said to have happened in a parallel universe, Kcymaerxthaere.
In this video we travel out into the New Mexico desert in order to visit and explore the Triangles, taking a tour of the entire monument and crater. Along the way we talk about the truth behind the site, run into a UFO (briefly, until it becomes an identified flying object), and take in the beauty of New Mexico.
For more information on Kcymaerxthaere and the monuments spread across the world:

RockHound State Park Deming New Mexico, a Real Gem!
There are gemstones here, but they might consider renaming this to sunset state park. Wow, the sunsets were simply spectacular. It is a small park but easily accessible off of I-10 and is within 10 miles or so of Deming. We planned on staying a couple of days on our way west in January, but ended up staying a week. We debated staying longer, but moved on after a very nice stay. Make sure and subscribe if you would like to follow along with Terri, George(me) & Gizzy on our adventures as we wander the country living full time in our red, 2002 Newmar Dutch Star, diesel pusher RV. I swear, we have to be the only people in a red class A motorhome.
You can also follow our blog at jumingoffthecliff.com or on facebook via facebook.com/jumpingoffthecliff. We started this adventure in the Summer of 2016.
While our channel is based on living full time in an RV, our subject matter wanders a little like we do;)
Anyway, I hope you will join us as we wander about. Thanks for watching, subscribing, commenting, etc.

Road Trip! Explore Deming Luna Mimbres Museum and Rockhound State Park
Join me as I Sally Forth from Lake Holloman near White Sands to Deming, New Mexico! I started my journey early in the morning, taking in the stunning views of the White Sands National Monument as I hit the road.
My first stop was in Las Cruces, where I took a quick break to do some laundry before continuing on my journey. Las Cruces is a charming town with a rich history, and it was a nice place to take a break and rest before the rest of the drive.
From Las Cruces, I headed towards Deming, where I made a stop at the Deming Luna Mimbres Museum. This museum is a must-see for anyone interested in the history and culture of the area, and it was a great way to learn more about the region as I drove through.
After my visit to the museum, I headed to my final destination for the day: Rockhound State Park. This beautiful park is known for its rocky terrain and stunning views, and it's also a great place for rockhounding. Although I didn't have any luck finding any rocks on this trip, it was still a beautiful place to camp for the night.
All in all, it was a great day of driving and sightseeing, and I can't wait to explore more of this beautiful region in the future. Thank you for joining me on my road trip from White Sands to Deming, and I hope you enjoyed the journey with me.
